"Want to say how spectacular their staff is...everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Jeremy, butcher in their meat department, is absolutely the best. He will cut meat to order (if you like a thicker Ribeye), order in what you want, etc. He's over-the-top helpful. His team creates ready-to-cook fish entrees and stir fry options. Just check out the cases and ask for help if you have a question. The produce is also top rate and the team there is very helpful. The store is tiny, but has all you really need. They even have a camping aisle!"

I have got to say Murphy's has an elite Group, of cashiers and staff. If you come in to our store with a upside down frown most likely you will leave with a smile. We really appreciate smiles here in this store.

Pretty much the best place for food and supplies in Trinidad. The selection is enough to keep you going and healthy from carnivorous to vegan the selection is very good. I wound up at Murphy's daily or twice daily once I got into vacation mode.

Quintessential small-town market, where everyone seems to know everyone, and staff and shoppers alike join in singing When you get caught between the moon and New York City on Thanksgiving Eve.... Almost as if the staff actually liked their jobs and the shoppers were happy to be shopping!

Fantastic market if you're near the Trinidad/Orick area. As a chef, I was excited to see so many local brands and options (like the Humboldt County grass-fed beef we had for dinner! as well as local wines. For a market that looks small from the outside, it's completely packed with all you need inside. Don't skip this place!
