A classic in Clintonville, this unpretentious Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem! My favorite order is the spicy fried chicken along with fried eggplant in garlic sauce.

I ordered the dinner c6 spicy chicken and cilantro with white rice but I didn’t want the spicy sauce so they gave me different type sauce and as I’m eating my second bite to my surprise I can only think this one thing

Food was NOT good. Got orange chicken which had red hot peppers for some odd reason and was REALLY bland, also got general TSO chicken that was also just bland. Overall really lacked flavor. It was our first time and our last time going here. If you’re used to authentic Chinese food from nyc or nj then you’ll be REALLY disappointed.

The food is delicious. The salt and pepper tofu and the fried fish are my favorite along with the bok choy and the Mala or the garlic string beans. Everything I have tried from here is good. A lot of it is cooked spicy. It’s schezuan so it gives you that tingly mouth feel, at first I didn’t know what it was til I googled schezuan peppers. Visualizza piatti

Great unassuming small dining room Chinese restaurant. I enjoyed the large menu with some recommended specials and an entire “popular American” dishes section. I had the cumin seed lamb and fried dumplings. Solid all around, took a minute to get used to the cumin seed texture but I loved it and it was done quite well. Will be back to try other dishes.

I’ve only had takeout from here but it was perfect even after bringing it back home. The cumin green beans, salt and pepper tofu and eggplant with brown sauce were all excellent and it was enough to make several meals out of with sides of rice. I definitely want to check out more of their menu next time. I’ve heard the cumin potatoes are also highly recommended and that will be next on my list.

Sad to leave a one star review since I like the food a lot. However the owner charged us a 50% tip without asking during my last visit. Upon paying she told us that the tip was already included in the bill. We were shocked by how rude she was and confused by why or how she can charge the tip without asking. Not to mention we (2 girls) only ordered two dishes and she intentionally rushed us to sign the bill so we won't notice the huge difference. Yeah, anyway we did the math on our way home and did not have the energy to go through the hassles.Pay close attention to your bill if you decided to go. Visualizza piatti
