"Order was incorrect and when the waitress was notified, they brought back the same plate with the wrong meat order slightly removed. Waitress gaslit us about the order, blaming us for the mistake, then ignored us and did not bring the check. Would not recommend. Vegetarian options: Apparently the Thai fried rice comes with meat combo standard, even if you specifically request no egg and tofu. Very disappointed :"

"I am writing my first review and if possible, I would give this restaurant 0 stars. The food was extremely bad, in fact the worst I have ever had. We tried to eat it but couldn't. The broth tasted like tap water and the shrimp in our pho was brown and inedible. We ended up paying over $90 for 3 phos, a stir fry, and 1 drink. The service from the waitresses was good, but the food was just awful. We don't understand why this place has such high ratings. Save your time and money and avoid this restaurant."

"Looking for a light lunch and coffee and was surprised to see this place. As a rule, if you see a pastry and coffee shop, do not see wood-fired pizzas and handmade ice cream. I would have been fine with a simple croissant, but the fact that you could turn a fine pastry into a hot sandwich was too good an opportunity to happen. Everything tasted better than I expected, not that I didn't think it was good because I did. I drank the espresso too fast to get a picture of it. I would definitely recommend trying the hot food in this place when you go. Depending on what you get, this is one of those places where the earlier you go, the better / more stuff will be to choose from like the pastries. Have a new visit here."

"Located in the Westport Center—a small strip mall—you’ll find a modest and unpretentious venue furnished with basic chairs and tables, a printed menu, and a simple decor. Although the atmosphere and ambiance may not be impressive, I assure you that the food more than compensates for it. When you’re seated, a waitress will take your order and start the dinner process. I mention "process" because things at Lello's don't seem to move at lightning speed; this is due in part to the fact that everything is made to order with fresh, homemade ingredients. All their pasta, dressings, and even their fine mozzarella are crafted in-house. I had the pleasure of dining with three family members, allowing us to sample a variety of dishes and desserts. We ordered a selection of dinner entrees, including two Friday night specials and a few house specialties. One highlight, although not traditionally Italian, was the Friday night special of Seared Salmon served with mango chutney and black beans and rice; it was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. As a fan of Veal Parmigiana, I must say that Lello's version is among the best I've ever had. The veal was incredibly tender, generously topped with homemade sauce and mozzarella, and simply melted in my mouth."

"I had to lower my rating, which is disappointing. I brought my husband here this morning because he doesn't live here, and I wanted him to enjoy it. We spent $55, and most of the food ended up being thrown away by the server. I had recommended the restaurant, so it's disappointing when it turns out not to be good. His pancakes were undercooked, his bacon was practically raw, and the sausage links were very chewy. My French toast was mushy in the middle. I always get the French toast! What's even worse is that my parents won't come here, and they told my husband that Mitchell's was hit or miss during the week so they don’t visit at all. I was determined to prove them wrong. I suggest they work on consistency while I've only ever come during the week, the food should still be consistent. I asked if it’s the same cook every day and one of the servers said yes so maybe there’s some burnout. Maybe I’ll try them again in a few months but my husband has stated he will not return."
