The bagels are amazing but the customer service is less than desirable. The man that works the register is racist and rude. They should work on hiring people with more respect for diversity.

Clueless. Couldn't figure out how to get an order of 4 sandwichs together. Kept bringing me one sandwich at a time as each was done instead of getting entire order at one time. pastrami sandwich was trash non toasted rye bread.

This little bagel shop is fantastic and very accommodating for special catering orders! Not only are the bagels delicious, but the owner is very very sweet. We requested them to make us custom rainbow bagels in the colors of the Maryland flag (red, white, black, and yellow) and they have made them absolutely perfectly! Absolutely horrible experience today, made my bagel with wrong cream cheese twice and I didn’t notice second time until I got home. Forgot to make my fries. Ended up waiting 45 minutes for all my food just for bagel to be wrong and I spent so much money to extend parking from what I thought would be 5-10 minutes in and out. Staff weren’t apologetic. This isn’t usual of them but was bad enough for me to write a review

NDB is a staple for UD students and alumni, and for good reason. Everything I've ever ordered here has been delicious, and their bagel sandwiches can't be beat. However, despite vegetarian breakfast meat alternatives being widely available and not terribly expensive, they still haven't added any of those options to the menu. I love a good egg and cheese on an everything bagel, but it would be great to get one with Beyond or Impossible sausage every now and then, too.The coffee is adequate if you're just looking for basic drip coffee brewed in large batches.

Custom experience was terrible, I’m a sever and so is my girlfriend. We understand mistakes and would typically never write a review. My girlfriend has an egg allergy and I told them when I ordered, when I went home her bagel had egg on it, she called and very nicely explained to them the mix up. They said if we come back we can pick up another bagel (never mentioned we have to bring the bagel back). She lives right down the street so I walked back. When I came for pick up they said I needed the old bagel, I told them I threw it out because we couldn’t eat it and they replied “how do I know you didn’t eat it”.
