I attended a friend's event at the restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food and service were outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

Best sushi in the Johnstown area. I eat here a couple times a month and it’s always the same and always fresh. If you’re getting sushi anywhere else in Johnstown you’re not getting top quality sushi!

I've been here 2 separate times. The first time I had a sushi roll, shrimp tempura appetizer, and the lava cake. It was so good! The second time I had the seafood newburg and berry tiramisu cake. We were hungry for sushi and this place showed up. Good food, ok portions for the money. My wife is Hawaiian born and raised so the sushi was judged lol Only thing she liked that we got was the tuna. My lobster raviolis we're a bit salty.. Bring some cash if you go and want to eat, we spent $132 on just dinner for two (no drinks) Nice place tho, give it a try.

Best sushi in this area by far. Nice clean restaurant, w plenty of dining space and a decent size bar. Theres an assortment of selections on the menu if sushi isn’t your thing. The service is always great here and the food is fresh and well put together. Nice enough for a formal sitting, but not so uptight for an informal occasion. I’ve been here a handful of times and always have a great experience.

I often eat sushi at various restaurants, and I can confidently say that NYKO's is the best I’ve ever had. I’m even willing to go out of my way to wait until I get home to savor their sushi. The service is exceptional, too. Don’t forget to ask about their special rolls that aren’t listed on the menu, such as the Volcano Roll, which you can customize to your preferred level of spiciness. Love this place. Some of the best food I've had especially the sushi. I like the specialty rolls with the Gladiator being my favorite. But there are many tasty options. Be careful asking for extra hot. David the owner may use hos home grown ghost pepper. They also make great crabcakes, pastas and steaks with the rack of lamb being another favorite. Nice servers are nice and David will stop and chat for awhile. Desert is a good way to finish your meal. They also have a full bar.

My wife and I visited this sushi restaurant after a recommendation from a colleague. The ambiance was lovely—very clean, relaxing, and calm, with a charming family-run vibe. While it might not be the first place I would think of for sushi, their selection was surprisingly extensive. They featured some unique house rolls that were quite delicious, and all the ingredients seemed to be fresh and high quality. We will definitely return. The rolls we tried included Johnstown, Red Dragon, Gladiator, White Mountain, Long Island, and Dynamite.

Nykos is a spacious and consistently clean restaurant. Although I can’t comment extensively on their entire menu, I can say that their sushi is absolutely delicious, offering generous portions at reasonable prices. During my first visit, as someone new to sushi, the staff were incredibly helpful and patient, guiding me through the experience. I’ve also sampled a few other dishes, such as flatbread, steak, and gyoza, and they were equally delightful. The service is always friendly and welcoming. Nykos has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Whether you’re a sushi lover, a steak aficionado, or just someone who appreciates great food, this place is definitely worth a visit.
