"Sad, not the same Oak Tavern of just a few years ago. 17 August, noon. Long wait for a black and blue burger and a grilled cheese sandwich. We were in there before the others, but our waiter told us the kitchen was backed up. Waitress brought a cheese burger instead of the grilled cheese sandwich, apologized and said she'd bring one right out. My burger was not freshly cooked, was overcooked, and totally dry. When I asked if they forgot the blue cheese, she told me they always used blue cheese dressing. I told her years ago they used real blue cheese. By the time I finished, the grilled cheese sandwich had still not been brought out, so we asked for it to be carry out. The picture is tells the story (tried one bite)."

The oak has great wings and wonderful serv. I’ve never had a bad meal here. It’s a game day staple. My only complaint is the jukebox. Don’t play on game days!

Food is great if you’re a huge fan of microwaved nachos and gas station snacks. Bar was dead with staff standing around yet I still had to wait to get served.

Wings were very good, but man is it noisy inside. Don't expect to carry on a conversation. We had to go outside and eat so we could hear each other and it wasn't that busy. Visualizza piatti

eating was super good! some of the best pommes, both regular and sweet kartoffel. it is a bar atmosphere and the workers there are super attentive and really beautiful. would eat there again!

The wings were amazing, featuring a wonderful variety of sauces on the side. I also sampled the yam waffle fries, which were delightful. Our server was prompt and charming, enhancing our experience. We really appreciated the atmosphere as we unwound and enjoyed our meal. I will certainly return!

Oak Tavern has the best wings in the Cincinnati area! I've sampled all the places that claim to have the "best" wings, and while many are excellent, Oak Tavern is my top choice. I had an incredible experience at Oak Tavern, with delicious wings and remarkable service. I always feel welcomed, and they consistently remember my order. Hayley is an exceptional server—friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The kitchen staff also takes the time to ensure the quality of my food, which is a nice touch.

I have to agree with recent reviews. The wings are delicious and I love that there is a grilled option and unlimited sauces. But the extra celery that I ordered tonight was less than a single serving and looked like curly cues from the end of the stalk (c’mon, that’s the cheapest part of the dish). Beyond that, the service was subpar. I waited longer to get my tab than I did for my carryout to be cooked. And, although it was not my goal, the man next to me at the bar commented that “you couldn’t get drunk here if you wanted to.” In other words, the service was sorely lacking.
