"The staff and atmosphere at this restaurant are truly wonderful! It makes for a very relaxing experience. So why only two stars? The issue lies with the kitchen. This was our fifth time visiting, and regrettably, it will be our last. We dined there during lunch or dinner three times, and twice I ordered the fish and chips. While it came out looking crispy and appetizing, the fish itself was almost raw. During our visit last night, I tried the coconut shrimp, which also looked fantastic, but once again, the shrimp was undercooked. It seems that the fry cook either lacks experience or is frying at the wrong temperature. They might want to consider checking the food temperature before serving it. My husband had the porterhouse steak, and he found it so salty that he joked it wouldn’t freeze in the freezer. Breakfast is decent, but their cocktails also seem to miss that special touch. We do our best to support local, non-chain establishments, but unfortunately, this one will no longer be on our list."
