"I think the restaurant has changed owners. The food just doesn't taste good anymore. The Knoephla soup was horrible. I won't be going back. I also tried the bread pudding and it tastes completely different now. There's nothing special about it. I'm really disappointed. This used to be my favorite restaurant! The new owners have ruined the food. I will never eat here again. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. They should have kept the recipes from the previous owners. It's such a shame."

"Had a very unpleasant experience here with the manager/owners daughter Waiting an hour and 25 minutes before even getting our food. We actually received the bill before the food. A friend (not waiter, literally a customer) of ours actually had to deliver food to the boys and other families that were with us bc he saw it waiting on the counter. I understand restaurants get busy! But this was a little much. We asked to just pay the sodas and leave but then the food came out. I took two bites and it was warm on the outside but cool on the inside. Waitress said it was impossible bc she just saw it come off the grill so I’m not sure how that could’ve happened. It wasn’t hot at all. The fries were cool/lukewarm temp enough to give to my daughter right away. My husband did not eat his food as it was cold (tho the sauce with it was warm). We asked to just pay what my son and daughter and the drinks but she began arguing with my husband and being very sarcastic which I feel is not the way to conduct business. Even if it’s really busy. We would’ve understood if we got a little service but she barely spoke to us and was more focused on the other tables. I cannot help to think this was a race thing as I am Half Mexican and my husband is asian. The rest of the families there (our friends and their kids) were Caucasian. She comped a friend of ours meal bc she was being slow but was sarcastic and rude to us when asked? The owners of this restaurant should really reconsider having their daughter as a manager if she can’t control her emotions against certain people like that bc we were understanding until her attitude. I’m just glad my daughter wasn’t old enough to feel there was a difference bc I really don’t see why we were treated any different when we acted and ordered the same? Update: to reply to the owners comment: we were showed the partly comped meal receipt and I can post a photo if needed. I’m not sure how we were uninformed when we saw our good friend delivering food to our own table."

"My wife and I used to go to the more well known Mexican restaurants in the area. We are both from California, and know what true Mexican food should taste like, and discovered this place quite by accident. Since then we have not gone anywhere else. We are continuously trying different plates. Each plate hasdelivered a great taste and generous portions. Though a small place the food is delicious. Nancy and Maria are very friendly and easy to place your order with. They makae you feel right at home; comfortable. If you have questions about the menu both of these ladies have the answer. If I had to complain about this place it would be the amount of parking, especially when there is a large fuel tanker filling up the gas stations tanks. Otherwise I cannot say enough good about this retaurant. We highly recommend Taqueria El Guerro!"

"I hate to give a poor review to a local small business, but my husband and I got our morning coffee from here and we both were so disappointed. I am hoping this review can enlighten the owners. It is close to my parents house so we like to stop for coffee on our drive home but we will have to find somewhere else local. Both of our drinks tasted like watery milk and the smallest hint of espresso. We have an espresso machine at home and we would prefer to make our own. I had my mom try my iced latte and she asked if it was sour milk. I took two sips and threw it away, which is not my style. I like a bold espresso taste and this didn't do it, at all."

"After ordering $60 worth of food from this restaurant and sharing it with my family, we all got food poisoning. My kids even had explosive diarrhea. When I called to inform the owner, they were extremely rude and basically called me a liar. If they had shown some care or apologized, I wouldn't be writing this bad review. It seems like I'm not the only one who has gotten sick from this place based on other reviews. The owner's response to negative feedback is also poor. This was supposed to be a treat for my family after a tough few weeks, but the way we were treated on the phone was unacceptable. The owner's behavior is rude and I feel justified in calling out this bad business."
