Tonight we had supper! Here's what we got, burger with fries, chicken Alfredo, steak with fries, chicken with fries and chicken strips, Mac and cheese and fries. It all tasted so good we all left with full bellies!

I was here several times and had a variety of different things from the menu. All foods are excellent. The fried chicken, the fried pork tenderloin, the fish on Friday nights, and the grilled chicken sandwich are all a must try. Seriously excellent food and wonderful people. So nice to have this place so close at home

The food and service was fantastic. I was really impressed. It would be nice to see more on their menu. The waitresses were very friendly. I think they have a good thing going here. It was a very relaxed setting. The prices were just a little higher than what we would of liked. But it was worth every bite. I wish them good luck and you definately will have repeat customers here! The dining salad bar was excellent, offering a variety of choices. I enjoyed the amazing White Chicken Taco soup, and the salad bar had plenty of options. I also had the ribeye steak sandwich, which was simply perfect. My husband ordered the 1/3 pound burger loaded with toppings and he said it was very good. I would highly recommend this place to everyone—it's a wonderful family restaurant and bar. Kudos to the new owners, Tricia and Kim, and their staff for all their hard work in creating such a great spot. I will definitely be returning!

I had dinner tonight from 5:45 to 7:00 on a Saturday, and the restaurant was nearly full. They were short-staffed, but the team managed to take care of everyone without feeling overwhelmed, and the food was excellent. I ordered the grilled cod, expecting something bland as is often the case in rural restaurants. Instead, it came Cajun style with some added flair! The fish was perfectly cooked—definitely not overdone or boiled. It was one of the best dinners I've had anywhere! I didn’t even need to ask for it to be cooked any better than how it was served tonight!

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at Old Country. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a meal out, and this restaurant came highly recommended. We were seated and placed our orders right away, but it took a little while for our food to arrive. That said, the quality of the food was outstanding. I opted for the New York Strip Steak, while my wife had a burger. The steak was cooked almost to perfection, and it was absolutely delicious—better than any steak I've had in Iowa!
