"It’s not your typical high touristy restaurant that slacks on service, value, and more importantly taste. We experienced great service, delicious food, and the natural entertainment from the playful seals. Make a reservation on open table and request to sit by a window, we sat upstairs. I ordered grotto seafood sampler and the calamari was the best I’ve ever had, lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The grilled scallops and clam chowder were favorites from our table. The desert options all looked amazing the hostess said the cannolis and bread pudding are most popular but mom wanted key lime pie so we went with that. We were not disappointed reminded us of the Florida Keys."

Pleasantly surprised…loved the sautéed rock fish with nicely done vegetables. Sitting by the window watching the sea lions was so entertaining too!

Iman, our server, provided excellent service and was very friendly. He did a fantastic job taking care of us. We were seated at a window table with stunning views of the bay.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Old Fisherman's Grotto on Fisherman's Wharf. Our server, Reuben, was very attentive and the food was delicious. My wife and I enjoyed a whole Dungeness crab together and it was fantastic. We will definitely be returning to dine here again in the future.

Visiting from out of town and listened to a few tiktoks to visit this place and made reservations in advance. Definitely worth making reservations for to avoid a 30min wait on a Friday. Food was amazing! Our server was a bit cold towards us but didn’t completely ruin our experience. Would visit again! Mentioned it was our anniversary and they sat us near the window
