Decided to try Ky’s best BBQ and boy am I glad we did! For starters the smell of hickory is amazing and greets you as soon as you exit the car! Dining room was quaint and cozy .. honesty felt like someone’s home! The Burgoo is authentic and amazing! Try it, there’s a reason it’s our state dish! Mutton is delicious, couldn’t decide which way was my favorite! Beef brisket is tasty, crisp edges ! Yummy! I was pleasantly surprised with portion size vs price! Only complaint I ate it all!! We drove all the way from Texas and it was worth it! And even if you don't think you'll like mutton, we highly recommend you try it anyway. It's their specialty! Also, the portion sizes are amazing. One combination plate (about $14) came with two large pork ribs, a chicken thigh and drum, 1 cup chopped with 2 sides, bread, onions, and pickles. Also, great service! Great experience overall!
