An EXCELLENT bbq place to eat!!!!!!!!...been eating this food for over 40 years.....we drive from Rome, GA. just to eat there

Best breakfast place around. I have been good there for 30 years and nothing has changed. The wait staff is great. I love the place.

Was there last Sunday for lunch. Wonder food thank you who are BBQing (new word). Servers very nice, others there eating very nice and smiling, highly recommend anytime you are in the area.

I've eaten in the old Hickory house since I was 12 years old on Piedmont Rd. (1956). It is the place where I can compare all other BBQ restaurants. I still eat there that it is a 70-mile journey to do this.

I still think it's the best around. To me nobody has anything on the Brunswick stew. Every time we're in the area we always make a point to stop in and get a quart of stew and a pound of BBQ pork and sauce to take home. See Ya next trip!!! Visualizza piatti

Amazing Southern soul food, down -home atmosphere, quick, friendly service. Love this place so much! I last came here ten years ago but make sure to visit each time I'm in Atlanta. The barbecue pork is just perfect, tender and with a little char. Sides are great too. Nothing has changed, and neither should it. Love this place so much, long may the Hickory House continue!

Fantastic dining experience! The ambiance was tidy and inviting. The service was exceptional. We sampled a variety of appetizers and sides, all of which were delicious. As for the meats, the ribs were flavorful and sweet, while some of the brisket was tough and not as enjoyable. However, the burnt ends were quite tasty. The pork was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. I noticed there wasn’t a pulled pork option, which I would have preferred to order. Additionally, I wasn't a fan of the BBQ sauce; it was not sweet and primarily tasted like tomatoes.

I absolutely love Old Hickory House! The food is fantastic, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. I ordered the ribs, French fries, and green beans, and everything was delicious. The ribs were amazing with a sauce that was sweet but not overly so. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and had a nice salty flavor, while the steak fries were cooked to perfection. To top it all off, my waiter, Alexis, was exceptional! She greeted me warmly and made some great recommendations, and she checked on me frequently to ensure I had everything I needed.
