"We ate at Monte Jade when the Gaylord first opened and it was fantastic! They were closed during COVID and must’ve just recently re opened. Our reservation was at 8:30 and there was not very many people in the restaurant but they sat us right by the main entrance and a busy walkway which I thought was strange. They were out of several items on the menu. We ordered several dishes for all of us to share. Everything was average not great but not bad either. The service was great. The price for the food did not reflect the taste as I felt like I could’ve gone to my favorite local take out Chinese and gotten the same quality for a quarter of the price. Hopefully they step it back up!"

As the evening went on, it became increasingly challenging to have a conversation due to the poor acoustics and loud noise. However, the food and service were good overall.

Ray was a great server. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The customer service was excellent. They did everything possible to make us feel welcomed. The exact opposite of the old hickory steakhouse next door.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the location is very convenient. The staff could benefit from a bit more training or support, but I understand that it can be difficult to find good help these days. Fantastic Italian food cooked old school, original, fresh ingredients, and traditional recipes. For people who value traditional Italian food for a nice dinner, this is as good as it gets. Strongly recommend sitting outside on the patio, which is still technically indoors but in the large atrium. Very nice.

We had so much fun having dinner at Old Hickory Steakhouse. We ordered the cheese platter and paired it with the Patz and Hall Pinot Noir. We moved on to the Ribeye Steak and Bison Ribeye. This was paired with the Chappellet Cab. And, we ordered a few sides to share. We finished the meal offer the Rocky Mountain Sunset (fudge brownie) and Grahams Tawny Port. Our waiter was excellent, the food was excellent and we had a great time.
