"I rarely rate anything a 5 star!This is a comfortable inviting eatery. You order and pay at the counter. There is a rare window into the kitchen. (SPOTLESS)The service is friendly and prompt.I orderd a small container of the soup of the day portobello cream soup. It was thick, flavorful and had many large (but manageable) pieces of obviously fresh mushrooms. It was perfectly seasoned. I almost didn't want to eat my half of the meatball sub I split with my sister but; I am so glad I did! This is a bakery so it goes without saying the bread was perfect. It was crunchy and a little bit flaky but heavenly light. It was the perfect companion for the tender juicy lightly sauced meatballs. The bread soaked up a little sauce without falling apart making it a relatively neat sandwich to eat. The sauce was perfectly balanced. Not too sweet or salty or acidic just delicious. The cheese was of a good quality so it stretched and released with each bite. It actually tasted good and added tothe overall quality and depth of the sandwich. not the one bite and it's hanging out of your mouth variety here).I had a piece of chocolate cake with cannolli filling. It rivaled any bakery in NY or NJ that I have ever had . .and that's saying alot.Someone loves this business and the community it's in. There's a large chalkboard for dreams as you enter a puppy..to marry so and so..own an ice cream shop).There is also an area with pre-paid meal vouchers taped to the chalkboard stating take one if you need to.Who wouldn't want to eat here.It's all about the love."

dogs welcome? she behaves perfectly and wore an identifying west and leine. was the challenge necessary? otherwise, the lower part was not made to order. donut and cannoli were delicious.

We stopped in here for a quick snack on a road trip and now it's a staple. The overfilled donuts are so good. Like, so good! I've also had the bagels and a few of the sandwiches, and it's all amazing.The other thing I loved about this place was the tiny kid's toilet in the restroom, its directly across and facing the full size toilet. My friend, my service dog, and I have been coming to this restaurant a few times a month. We usually come for coffee and treats. Today, there was hardly any wait to be served, which was a pleasant surprise. Their baked goods are incredibly fresh and delicious. The iced Chai Latte is amazing, although I wish they had bigger cups for it. The owner even packed our leftovers and brought them to our table, which was greatly appreciated since I have mobility challenges. We will be trying their dinner menu soon.

I called ahead last weekend to order a carrot cake for my service dog's 1st birthday. When we picked it up, we forgot to mention that we wanted "happy birthday" written on it. The baker had already decorated it with carrots, so there was no space, but they added a purple number 1 instead. My dog's collar was purple when she was born, and it's also my favorite color. We never requested that color, but Old World Bakery included it anyway! Thank you, Old World Bakery, for making our day special. We will definitely return for coffee and treats!
