Food was mediocre at best. Service was excellent, even with a trainer in tow. Ambiance was nice. Wouldn't visit again after spending the next day in the bathroom.

Every time we come eat here the staff is wonderful and the food is perfection. My 9 year old daughter knows all the staff by name and the staff ALWAYS comes to greet us and makes sure we are taken care of. They go above and beyond and we greatly appreciate them! Hit or Miss. We absolutely love the food at On The Border (especially the chicken burrito with sour cream sauce!!! , but the service is really hit or miss. You either get a fabulous server, or you get a horrible one. It also seems like they're incredibly understaffed, and the servers have way too many tables. Our last server had at LEAST 10 tables by herself, and you could tell she was struggling. Overall, the food is A+, service is B-, and price is a B.

New menu is terrific. Hostess was not at station and we waited a long time for her to get our table, then she said she had to clean our table first even though there were tons of empty tables already available. Something to do with a shift change I heard, but it seems to be a really stupid policy that is pissing people off on this post. Management take note. Otherwise great service and awesome new choices on menu. Glad to see the Bordedito's and the other stale items being fazed out.

Windy was a very bad waitress. We ordered water and alcohol the alcohol took 5 minutes to come to our table the water took 30 minutes. Make that make sense. We sat around for 2 hours waiting for food and when we finally got the food we requested some limes. She literally shoved her hands in the bucket of limes and handed it to us with her dirty paws. Shortly after leaving we had the shits for an entire day because I'm pretty sure they got roaches and ecoli in the back. #off the border Visualizza piatti

GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE. I can't understand all the negative reviews and feel that most of the complainers are probably employed by competitors. I've eaten there several times recently and have received good food and service every time. My dinner club ate there two days ago; we were promptly seated, our orders were taken and delivered soon thereafter. The servings were generous and tasty, our chips and salsa were fresh and attentively refilled when needed. Their prices are very reasonable. My only complaint is that the acoustic design creates a very noisy atmosphere.

I only crave this place when I'm pregnant. And since My doctor is in the Baptist's physician's building, we ate here at least once a month after long, drawn out pre-natal visits. It's tame, and the food is always the same as it was the time before. Being a chain, you can expect a certain level of quality. Not that it's the best by any means. I'm having a hard time explaining what it's like to be pregnant, sick, and still craving mexican food. If you're picky, or don't like tons of spice, or pregnant, it'll do the trick! The dip trio is very good, and I usually order the Mini Street Tacos, because they're served al carbon, just the way I like.

A Personal Touch. I am not particularly drawn to chain restaurants, and this particular restaurant has not had the best reputation for service and food. But this has made a good turnaround!<br/ <br/ The servers have been trained up! The kitchen seems to have it together. The drinks are good, reasonably priced, the food is fresh. <br/ <br/ I am even able to get a flavor of the real Mexico. When I think Mexican food I think seafood, soups, and fresh veggies. This chain has that, and the guacamole made to order at your table is probably the best in town. <br/ <br/ The best part was the late night manager and staff, who helped me out one night when I was in a bind.
