"This past week we drove to Myrtle Beach for our anniversary and dined at Sea Blue on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The moment we walked in, we found this tastefully decorated, inviting restaurant to be exactly what we were looking for. The star of the show was Chef Kenneth. Having had a late lunch we went straight to the entrees. My husband had the Australian Rack of Lamb which he said was one of the best he has ever had. I had the perfectly prepared Duck Breast. Jennifer prepared an amazing Manhattan for me. Wine with dinner was another winner. The pastry chef prepared a hot lava cake with caramel gelato which was heavenly. I would be remiss if I did not mention the impeccable service thank you Shannon. I will certainly be visiting this restaurant in the future. Being a food snob, we plan our trips around great restaurants. There are other restaurants in the area we would like to try based on the recommendation of other foodies. They are Bistro (Longs, SC) and the Aspen Grille at N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. At this point in time it is so important to support our locally owned fine dining establishments. For many of us who eat to live, it is our key form of entertainment. Please give these restaurants a try"

"On vacation last year, we tried Johnny D’s in Myrtle Beach after searching for highly-rated breakfast restaurants and we were not disappointed. We loved it! How thrilled were we when we saw that they were opening another location in North Myrtle Beach near Barefoot Resorts (where we stay)? We arrived in North Myrtle yesterday afternoon and breakfast on day one of vacation was none other than the new Johnny D’s! The new location is bright, spacious, modern, and clean and the service and food are both outstanding. We were amazed at how quickly our food arrived after we ordered and all of our meals were hot delicious. The Banana Split Waffle was truly breakfast and dessert in one, as the menu promised. Well worth the calorie splurge! The Farmers Omelet was filled with toppings and the French Dip was flavorful and juicy. We will definitely be back a few more times this week!"

"We came for my friend's birthday. It was extremely disappointing. The food was awful and overpriced. There was also a limited choice. The Caesar salad was awful and full of yellow salads that made it bitter. I haven't been to the restaurant in years and it's clearly gone downhill. I spoke to a friend and he had the same opinion. Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forgot to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he had given it. It was really a waste of Moey, but more importantly, ruined the birthday party."

"We always use Lucky Panda for deliveries. But we just felt like getting out of the house (and in July not wanting to be going to where the vacationers usually go), and so LP. The food was as good as always, the beef which we both had was actually almost perfect. We both experienced one chewy piece but it wasn't terrible... The 4 star rating of 5 is because we were a little bit disappointed in the slowness. It wasn't terrible but it was slow. There was a sign on the door that said they needed drivers for delivery, (LOL as you can guess made a smile that we didn't choose to have food delivered)...But after our waiter took our order, we knew that he really didn't know the menu because we had questions about a couple of things including the price of the sake, then he disappeared and we were attended to by two other women. We later figured out he's one of the drivers... So there a little bit short on wait staff as well. Or something. the other thing will mention is that there were six people waiting for their to go orders. We can tell that none of them were local so if you're from out of town and you want food Chinese this is really a good place but plan ahead and order with enough time. 8/24 take out update... well I just reduce Lucky Panda by 1 . I ordered my standard beef and broccoli and it's the second time I ordered it where the beef is simply chewy. There's no other word chewy chewy chewy. The flavors are top notch, there's plenty of the food, and plenty sauces that they give you etc but when the beef is this bad it's just a big disappointment."
