"This particular restaurant has been serving its loyal customers for over 50 years, offering delicious dishes alongside strong drinks. Notable menu items include the Baked Stuffed Haddock with seafood stuffing and Hollandaise sauce for $17.95, the Fisherman’s Platter (available baked or fried) for $23.95, and Grilled Salmon served with a choice of Plain, Honey Mustard, or Dill Sauce and pilaf vegetables for $18.95. On Saturdays, they also serve a fantastic prime rib that looks irresistible.
During my visit, I happened to be there on a Thursday, the only night they serve fried chicken, which is one of my Southern favorites. It was lightly breaded, piping hot, and wonderfully non-greasy—just the way I like it. The meal came with French fries and coleslaw, although mashed potatoes and vegetables were also an option. The coleslaw was perfectly seasoned, with just a hint of sweetness, and not overly drenched in mayonnaise.
The waitress was friendly and efficient, and I overheard the patrons at the next table recommending the Haddock, which has made me eager to return. Overall, if you're looking for some great comfort food in a laid-back setting, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy!"
