"I attended a monthly meeting hosted by the District 4 GOP as a guest. When I arrived, I checked in with the hostess and let her know that we wouldn’t be dining. She assured us that dinner was included, so we took her word for it. However, after the dinner and meeting, I returned to my table and discovered a bill for $54 per meal. The dinner itself was quite mediocre— the fish and potatoes were lackluster, the broccoli was decent, but the dessert fell flat. I only had water to drink, and overall, the meal felt more like it was worth about $15 at most. The atmosphere was below average. On the plus side, the service staff was excellent. Lesson learned!"

The restaurant is located in a unique and historic building, which adds to its charm. The service and food were good, but not outstanding. While the menu is solid, it seems that the kitchen staff and their capacity are a bit limited, which affects the overall experience.

I recently attended a happy hour event that lasted about 2.5 hours on a beautiful early evening during an Indian Summer. While I won't be rating the food since I only enjoyed some wine, the service was exceptional. I also had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic new friends! The venue itself is a stunning historic building in downtown, which was originally a single-family home and has served as a private club for many years. I had a wonderful experience and am already looking forward to my next visit!
