"I visited this restaurant again after four years, and it's decent enough that I might wait another four before returning. The food was flavorful, which was definitely a highlight. However, I was surprised by the tiny size of my corned beef sandwich—seriously, it was like it could fit in the palm of my hand! And no hot mustard? Come on! The onion rings were tasty, but the pickle was just average. Honestly, they should mention how small the sandwich is in their advertising!"

I’m from 1977 and one of my best childhood memories was going to this place once a week to have a cheeseburger while my mother was at the laundromat a couple doors down . I still enjoy it so much to this present time but now with my own children.

Been coming for years and the ladies behind the counter are always kind and provide good service. I can't say that about the male proprietor who always looks at me as though I were about to steal the ketchup and run (at 60). LOL As a 30-year taxpayer in Edgewater he needs to wake up and realize we all live here.

I've been visiting this place on and off for several years, and it's consistently a great spot for hot dogs, burgers, chopped beef, and even a fried seafood platter. There aren't a lot of frills, but that’s part of its charm—it doesn’t need them. If you can serve me a delicious Chicago dog in under six minutes, I really have no complaints!
