Perkins will be a regular stop for us after the big breakfast we had. The cakes are absolutely great. The peanut buttercake and coconut cream cake are the real deal! Definitely from scratches and the best ingredients. You could taste the vanilla in the cake! I'm going back to Perkins, just for the cakes. Stop the good kitchen. Very nice interior also and cozy.

I recently dined at this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner and I must say, I was extremely impressed! The portions were generous and the dinner was delicious, with a nice variety of options. My father even mentioned that it was the best Thanksgiving meal he has ever had. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place, especially during the holiday season.

We decided to stop for lunch at Perkins despite its run-down appearance in a less-than-desirable neighborhood. To our surprise, the restaurant was busy with several customers enjoying their meals. I ordered the cheeseburger special and my wife had the shrimp special. Both dishes were delicious and we received excellent service from Desiree. The server was friendly and very attentive. We were seated quickly and the service was prompt, but not rushed. My food arrived hot and beautifully presented. To my delight, it came with all the extras like hot sauce, ketchup, and jellies without even having to ask. The server was clearly experienced and skilled at their job. Our table was regularly checked on to ensure we were enjoying our meal and had everything we needed. I was very satisfied with my experience and will definitely return when I'm in town again. Sam I normally love Perkins, but the visit to this location could have been much better. The server came to our table, was very friendly and got our order put in fairly quickly. Then we waited, and waited and waited even longer. The server didn't come back to our table until the food was delivered. We noticed at least 2 other tables get seated and food delivered before or order was delivered to our table. When the food was FINALLY brought out, it looked like they just slapped it together very quickly. Our server offered no explanation or apology as to why the food took so long and when I went to pay the bill, the manager was running the cash register. She did not ask me how our meal was and...

However, when I got home, I discovered that the soup I ordered was very small and the container was damaged. The pie I ordered was completely melted and the potatoes had gravy despite us requesting them without. When I called to address these issues, I was told that the soup portion was correct and they could not refund the melted pie since I ordered online. They offered to replace it, but I would have to return to the store. The most concerning part was when my sick boyfriend tried to eat the soup I got for him and the container exploded, making a mess.
