"I've been a customer for years and have never had any problems or complaints. Every time I visit their establishment, the staff is incredibly polite and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you're a regular, you know they offer their special oatmeal, which you must try. Additionally, the hot pastrami and Swiss cheese on a buttered toasted roll with mayo is a must-have! If you haven't been to Pharos yet, you definitely need to check it out because the food is finger-licking good, but it's not KFC!"

I was in the area and wanted to quickly grab something tasty. I got a fresh natural fruit smoothie and a Texas weiner combo, all for under $20, and it was AMAZING! I will definitely be coming back here when I'm in the mood for a delicious Texas hotdog.

"I went with my friend … two women. It was early Saturday evening 5:15. The restaurant was not busy. The food was good but costly. I had a ribeye steak … cooked to perfect temp … a tad salty and a tad greasy. But good. (Shoestring type fries …way too greasy … I ate only a couple. We had squash flowers stuffed with crabmeat for appetizer…absolutely delicious! And fabulous flourless peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert. We sat looking out at the lake. The bar has nice ambience too with fireplace and the lighting is nice. The servers were very sweet, but they seemed really nervous…like they were afraid they might make a mistake. They seemed to be under a lot of pressure. My complaint is with the waiter. He was pushy and rude. He cut me off when I asked him about a wine recommendation. I had to ask him to let me finish my sentence . When we said we would like to start with an appetizer and decide about our entree later, he said we couldn’t do that … that we would have to order our entree and appetizer at the same time. He was ridiculously rude. I tipped him accordingly. I gave the bulk of what would have been his tip to the servers because they were so sweet. Restaurant has a large parking lot and it would be very easy for the cars to park themselves, but it’s valet parking only. Really silly. It’s a nice place, but I came away thinking get over yourself … trying too hard to be classy which makes it not so classy."

"The food at this restaurant is really good, with high quality ingredients given the price point. However, the wait time for the food was longer than expected, about 25 minutes. It was a busy night, so it's understandable, but it would have been nice to be informed about the wait time. The restaurant's interior is clean, with a standard setup. The Chicken Lo Mein was delicious, and while the Kung Pao chicken had more vegetables than chicken, it still tasted great."

"Called ahead and was told it was twenty minutes until my 6 bagel sandwich order was ready. It actually took 40 minutes and they had to chase after me with my muffin they forgot. Oh and the lights weren?t even on when I walked in which was almost an hourafter they opened. Just speaks to their organization which there was none! Service was horrendous, they dropped my order on thefloor! I went to pay and found out what I thought would be a $30 order was over $40!! I?ve also never been to a bagel shop thatonly puts one egg on each sandwich, so not only is it overpriced but it?s cheap. The Dunkin next store is getting all of mybusiness and I recommend to everyone that they do the same."

"The food is delicious, but I do have one concern: there just isn’t enough chicken in the burritos and salads. In my salad, I found only three tiny pieces of chicken, and I couldn’t even spot any in the burrito. It seemed like they substituted it with beans instead. They should really call it a bean burrito or bean salad instead of a chicken burrito or chicken bowl. I’m willing to give them another chance, but if it happens again, I might need to look for another Mexican restaurant. Food rating: 3."

"A smaller, unassuming restaurant hidden in Plainfield is the home of some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time. We were fortunate to grab the last parking space there. We were promptly seated with our reservation, and we sought to try the fried Burrata, market salad, salmon, and Margherita pizza. My favorites of the night were the market salad and the Margherita pizza, both of which I believe to have a great flavor. Service was attentive and very quick, and the bathroom was nice and clean. Dessert was delicious as well, I would recommend the apricot bread pudding, which was a smashing hit. All in all, a terrific experience that I would recommend for anyone who is a self-proclaimed foodie."
