Pho Viet - Piatti

Tasty and competent Vietnamese standards plus inventive dishes I?ve not seen before.

For the price its 7/10. Good decent food but not great. PHO broth is good but quite small for fifteen bucks..and no real chilli oil?..

Ordered charbroiled pork with egg roll over rice noodle. The noodle was a bit warm so it sucked up more fish sauce than I'd like. Had to ask for extra. Pork was tasty and egg roll was good.

We ordered the lemon grass beef, but it looked more like a curry with lots of onions. No other vegetables either and wasn?t very spicy a bit of a let down. However, the beef Pho had a tasty broth. Would order the Pho again.

I've never failed to have a satisfying meal here. I'm not much for pho in general but the rest of their menu items are excellent. Especially like the fish with yellow curry and fresh vegetables. Fresh ingredients, cleanly prepared and flavorful. Agood value as well. As an update, I am always impressed with the consistency here. I've always enjoyed every meal at Pho Viet. Although I'm not a big fan of Pho itself, the other dishes on their menu are excellent. I especially love the fish with yellow curry and fresh vegetables—everything is made with fresh ingredients, expertly prepared, and full of flavor. The prices are very reasonable too. Even though I no longer live nearby, I’m consistently impressed by the quality whenever I visit, knowing exactly what to expect each time.

One of two Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. It has cozy booths and the food comes out fast. It?s usually tasty food but this time around it wasn?t good. We had simple egg noodles with tofu which lacked flavor; salt and pepper calamari which were justokay; scallop eggplant with veggies and basil the veggies were delicious and the scallops undercooked; and tofu egg rollswhich were wonderful. The service was alright and I appreciate that the manager gave me a discount for the undercooked scallops.I could see coming back here to try other dishes and giving it a chance again.

Pho Viet is one of only two Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food usually arrives promptly. Most of the time, the dishes are flavorful, but on my latest visit, they fell a bit short. We tried simple egg noodles with tofu, which lacked flavor; salt and pepper calamari that were just average; scallops with eggplant, vegetables, and basil, where the vegetables were delicious but the scallops were undercooked; and tofu egg rolls, which were excellent.
