Stayed out on the peninsula. It was a ton of fun. Quiet to the party we were with. Absolutely no issues with the stay. We did not eat at the restaurant but did see the menu. Extremely pricey and every item is ALA carte. Already planning my next trip down next year over the long weekend.

I can only speak on the peninsula camping area and OHV trails. I have been coming here for about 5 years now with a group that has been coming longer than I. We always camp and have a boat for the group. This year I rented from JV trailers and brought my own RZR out. The trailer was perfect for my family and I, and was set up before we pulled into camp. This is a fantastic spot! The private beaches on each peninsula and the campsite itself were stunning. Unfortunately, the zip line is permanently closed, and the water playground was very outdated and not functioning at all. We visited during a holiday, and it was quite empty afterward, which made it nice to have the place to ourselves! The public restrooms and trash disposal areas were conveniently located and well-maintained.

We took a day trip and thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views, beach, and cabanas. However, we were disappointed by the situation with the parking for boats. Instead of utilizing the docks, they opted to park more boats on the sand. While many boats were only there to enjoy the restaurant, they took up most of the space on the beach, leaving us with a very limited area to relax. Unfortunately, we felt compelled to leave due to the cramped conditions.

At $120 a night for a campsite I expect a working bathroom. We were on Peninsula 5 and the bathroom is out of order, so the next one over the distance of a football field in Peninsula 3. No fun walking during the heat of the day or in the middle of the night. I sent them by email to just say that a head would have been nice so that we would have requested another location, but no answer. We loved being able to take the boat jet skis here straight off of the river and pull out back and park. The whole place was decorated really cool, it felt like we were on a tropical vacation. I removed one star because of the super ridiculous pricesfor basic bar food. Kids chicken nuggets were $10 for two tiny chicken strips and a few fries. Pina Colada was amazing, probablythe best mix I?ve ever tasted. The bucket however was not worth $45! Everyone agreed it tasted watered down.

UPDATE- 3/14/22 ' You can see that management responded below and asked me to reach out by email. Well... I emailed them back and got no response. Apparently this was a disingenuous offer. I wasn 't even expecting anything from it, I was honestly just trying to help management understand where they could improve. I 'm changing my review from a 3 star to a 2 star. The location is great, the staff/management is poor. This place is pretty cool. I stopped by here years ago so when we decided to spontaneously go out of town in January I picked this spot. The resort was very expensive. Drinks are 20 bucks at the bar. Camping was 100-120 a night etc. I guess I could look past that but my worst expe...

I was a little confused on how many stars to give. Why? Because the check-in process is nice and easy. Very nice girls and answer your questions. We stayed for 4 days...The stay was nice, very windy 3 of those days, but we can't do anything about mother nature. Now, after we left, we received a call that the bushes where we stayed, surrounding our campsite had trash and they had to take a bulldozer in for I don't know what. Anyway.. I took a detailed video of the bushes and everything before we left the campsite. We didn't get charged. But many campsite visitors did. And if they clearly aren't responsible for mother nature ruining our stay, then how are we responsible for the trash blown in... Visualizza piatti
