"My dining companion and I both opted for the traditional turkey dinner and decided to take home some leftover turkey, gravy, and squash. Unfortunately, I can only give this experience a 3-star rating due to the small portion sizes, which this restaurant is known for, and the overwhelming amount of dark meat, which we don’t particularly enjoy. Given that turkey is a relatively inexpensive meat, serving such tiny portions seems unnecessary. Each of us received just one very thin slice of white meat, along with several pieces of dark meat. We also ordered two servings of squash from the leftover menu, but sadly, it wasn’t included in our bag when we got home. This weekend, we tried a turkey dinner at another local restaurant and were delighted with the generous portions—enough to bring home leftovers without feeling pressured to order more. They didn't include any dark meat, reserving it for other dishes unless specifically requested. Additionally, the price was a few dollars lower and even included dessert."

"The calzone crust was burnt and had no flavor in the areas where it wasn 't. The cheese was also bland, and the pepperoni seemed to be in a single layer on the bottom but limited in that I only got pepperoni in about 60% of my bites. The side of marinara sauce was the star of this calzone order. It 's not worth the price for a calzone here in my opinion. I had multiple calzones in this order; all were burnt like this. I understand pizza dough is supposed to be slightly burnt to caramelize the sugars in the dough, but this is burnt beyond that point. Looking at the top of it, half of the calzone is burnt as I 'd expect, but the amount of charred crust from the other half and nearly the entire bottom made it taste burnt as a whole. Edit: Replying to the generic I wish you would have brought this to my attention at the time of service When my review was marked as Takeout . Your employees put this in the box, can they bring it to their attention before placing it in the box? Here was my experience, I purchase three calzones totaling roughly $50, my wife and son drove to pick it up. When they returned home they said, your side of blue cheese is missing. I drove down to pick up my $0.50 side of blue cheese since I didn 't have any at home. I was told I 'm giving you an extra one as if that was compensatory. I only need one, just the one I ordered, to please be in the box. Then when I arrive home I look at my calzone and said, what is this? . And my wife said, they 're all burnt, it smelled burnt in the ride home. So, no, I was not making a third trip down to the restaurant to express my disappointment yet again. Your employees shouldn 't have put these in the box to begin with, IMO. In closing, we (my family) would have welcomed your restaurant catching this at the time of packaging so the issue could be addressed internally before pick-up and arrival home. We ordered three calzones, saw three boxes, didn’t feel the need to check for food quality. Every restaurant I 've worked at has a minimum of two checks to inspect the order, the cook, and the person at the pass who delivers the food to the customer (takeout or dine-in). This, in addition to your failure to admit these pictures don 't represent your restaurants expected quality, leads me to believe that this is normal quality. If this is not the typical quality of food you deliver, I would have welcomed a response to my review asking me to contact you to make it right or at least admitting fault at all. Food is expensive these days and only becoming more so, I feel it 's time for restaurants to take ownership rather than provide these generic, guilt-less responses when the issue is clearly visible. Some mistakes are exactly that, mistakes, and usually are not visible (ingredients missing or added when requested to remove, found a hair, meat not the right temp) but this is clearly visible (in my opinion) so that 's not on me to bring it to your attention or to inspect my food before leaving with my takeout."

"I had an amazing lunch at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, especially the Eggs Benedict Florentine served on an English muffin, which I highly recommend. Both the service and the atmosphere were excellent, contributing to a truly enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, there is plenty of free parking, which makes it very convenient to visit."

"There were 4 of us and you certainly could tell it was short staffed. Our waitress struggled to get to the table. It was a Thursday. I don't blame that on them but our food was disgusting! 3 of us ordered a sampler app. The eggrolls were black from the fryer. They tasted awful and certainly did not taste any pulled pork. The potatoes tasted old, the wings were hard and couldn't taste smoke. The rib was just OK, not falling off the bone. Again not very smoked tasting. Maybe the cook them in the oven first, but not falling off the bone. The alfredo was not good, dry and lacked sauce and flavor. Told the waitress it was just OK. Our plates were full mostly. We took it home and threw it out. If you want bbq, go to Dinosaur!!!! It's not even comparable!!! Won't be back, too bad. I have been to Dinosaur many times, but this was our first and last here. Just bar fried yuck! NOT BBQ!"

"First of all it is tough for me to write a bad review, but when asked my opinion, I will be truthful. To begin with the ambiance of this establishment is outstanding. They have really covered all the bases, and nothing has gone undone. We stayed at the Inn for Valentine's day and dined in the dining room. The staff was wonderful all the way around. My disappointment came with the food. As I said it was Valentine's day and the menu was preset. There were limited selections at what I felt was an outrageous price per person. I chose the buttermilk chicken I know for pieces of chicken and it was extremely dry, it was actually awful. My husband ordered the filet and it was no bigger than the palm of his hand, served with a side of pieces of asparagus. Again, certainly not a per person meal. I wish we could have ordered off the menu, it would have made the whole experience picture perfect. But to spend on a meal not be happy is sad. We definitely will be back to give the main menu a try, because as I said earlier the place is a wonderful little slice of heaven right there in Leroy"
