Chicken was good, but, you have to get there early. The staff that take your money at the front counter have no personality! Wish they had hot biscuits like some of the other Pizza Ranches. Stopped by and ordered an 8 piece chicken with wedges. Usually an 8 piece includes 2 of each of the chicken pieces. We received no wings and 5 legs. Also, the chicken was so dark, it had been cooked way too long, we had to pick the batter off to eat it. Pizza Ranch, you failed tonight on our order. I would have brought it back to you if I lived closer.

Upgrade to my previous review based on some efforts to improve. Seat cushions that were torn up have now been replaced. I was not solicited for a tip on my buffet as previously happened. People seemed normal at 2 pm late lunch instead of the barnyard of weird people on my last rush hour visit. The salad bar is small but has the basics to make a good salad. The pizza crust is nice and crispy with various toppings. Desert pizzas are very good. Chicken was decent and somewhat improved over the overcooked and greasy chicken on my last visit.(Try White Fence Farm chicken in Romeoville, IL if you are ever near Chicago for some of the best chicken in the midwest.

I thought we could salvage the evening by playing some games and then grabbing McDonald's afterward, but that was another misstep! The machine to purchase a game card was broken, and when I asked the attendant about the different credit packages, he simply said, "I don’t know, how much do you want?" I ended up putting $40 on the card despite my better judgment after the awful dining experience. Many of the arcade games were out of service, and there was no manager available to speak with at 5:30 PM on a Sunday.
