"TLDR: Good food, bad service, double charged one person on a 50/50 split check and denied doing it regardless of a bank statement to the contrary. I had dinner here last week on 5/23 and I didn 't have the best experience. First of all the food was pretty damn stellar, credit where credit is due whoever they 've got in the kitchen is very good at what they do. Should you find yourself here the BLT flatbread is incredible which is a shame as I definitely will not be returning. The service was just abysmal. My party of 5 people was there for just under 2 hours and our waitress went missing several times. As in she 's nowhere to be found and we were ready to order an appetizer, or more drinks or our entrees. On one particular occasion she was behind the bar and all five of us were looking directly at her and she happily ignored us and continued to carry on her conversation with the bartender. It wasn 't the worst service I 've ever had but as highly regarded and recommended Farm Table is to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. But in this day and age I 've come to expect mediocre service, so long as the food is good I don 't complain and I very rarely leave a bad review. In this case however I cannot let this one lie. The bill for the 5 of us came out to $295.25 which was split 50/50 between myself and my father leaving two checks for $147.62 and 147.63 respectively. I was handed the check for $147.62 and paid with card, my father left $200 in cash in his receipt. Seeing as the service had been not so stellar we elected to leave the change from his cash as a tip and I signed my receipt with cash written on the tip line and the total on my receipt being $147.62. We then left. Fast forward a few days while looking through my bank statement I discovered that I had been charged for both amounts. Obviously I figured this was in error and that there had been some mistake and being a business owner myself I know that things happen and humans are human so I decided to give them the opportunity to make it right. So I drove out to Farm Table yesterday 5/30 and asked to speak to a manager and was introduced to a gentleman named Todd. After explaining what happened and even showing him a bank statement reflecting the charges he seemed dismissive and unbelieving. He asked me to email him the statement and that he would look into it. I then went home. Upon checking my email this morning I was greeted with exactly what I expected to see; Flat out denial. He attached pictures of an audit sheet showing what we had and how it was charged and told me to take it up with my bank. So here is what I think happened, the waitress saw cash on the tip line and assumed that her service had been so amazing that she deserved a $200 tip. So she put the cash in her pocket and ran my card a second time. I have no way to prove this, but this is my suspicion based on the facts of the situation. I 'm not going to mention the waitress by name but I 'm sure she will be shown this review. I have attached screenshots showing where I was charged for both bills and their audit print out. I just think it 's interesting that I was charged for both amounts down to the penny. When I went to Farm Table yesterday all I wanted was the second charge refunded, which is what I would have done in this situation had I been in Todd 's shoes. His dismissiveness and lack of concern for what is tantamount to theft is the reason that I will not be returning. Nor will I edit this review unless I am given a full refund including the $200 in cash."
