Everything at Porto's is always a delight and of high quality. The Grilled Chicken Cilantro Caesar Salad was fresh, flavorful, and excellent. The Potato Balls and Guava Refugiado (Guava and Cheese Strudel) are consistently delicious.

The pastries here are exceptional and truly delicious. There’s a wide array of options, ranging from the Refugiado (Guava and Cheese Strudel) to savory meat pies, cheese rolls, and potato balls, not to mention the gorgeous fruit tarts. It's a delightful experience that my family will definitely want to repeat!

This restaurant is one of the best bakeries in Los Angeles. It's always bustling and the offerings are always fresh. The breakfast is delicious and flavorful, and the staff is attentive and friendly. If you are trying first-time, I found it very helpful to walk the different sections and take pictures of what you would like to try. But know that the food can be very rich and very good. For example, the potato meat balls I recommend only 2 if you are having a dessert. It can be pricey but worth it for Cubano bakery ?

I ordered my usual favorites, including the seasonal turkey potato balls, and they were all excellent. However, I have to give a special shout-out to the new molasses ginger snap—it was fantastic! It was perfectly cooked, unlike the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, which are often underbaked. Overall, a great cookie!

We ordered the Cuban sandwich, the feta sandwich and two potato balls and one sweet corn cirque. We weren’t expecting meat in the ball but it was still delicious even with the unexpected surprise.The plantain chips were fresh and had a good mouth feel. I ordered the Spinach Empanadas, Potato Balls, a Caesar Salad, Cuban Black Beans with a Sourdough olive oil baguette, Strawberry Matcha tea, and Tropical Lemonade. I even took a few rings home for my family! The place is always busy, but the wait time is reasonable. They keep it clean, and there are plenty of options for dining, whether indoors or outside.

I absolutely love this place! We always get our cakes from Porto’s, and their pastries are incredible. We visited today to pick up a cake and also grabbed some pastries to take home. However, my only complaint is that this time they packed my pastries in a box, and by the time we got home, they had become all messy. They really need to find a better way to package pastries for takeout.

Pretty much everything was really tasty, the Turkey and Cheese Croissant Sandwich was superb, the Iced Ube Matcha Green Tea Latte was incredibly sweet, and a hint of bitter once mixed which was a nice taste, and the Cheese Roll was extremely delicious. The Iced Dulce de Leche Latte however was pretty bland, only little bits of dulce was added, but overall everything else was amazing.
