"Disappointed to say the least. Felt as cold inside as outside which is 49 degrees. Very uncomfortable had to eat with my coat on. Server not attentive. Never came back to see how anything was or if we needed anything . Bacon was curled up and mostly fat and hash browns had no flavor. Servers excuse was that they are busy no apologies will not be going back anytime soon. Service: Dine in"

"I recently visited Kellie 's Café in Newport, RI, and it was a delightful experience. I had the full English breakfast, and it was spot-on with all the classic elements you’d expect—perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, baked beans, and more. The food was hearty and delicious, just like a true British breakfast should be. What made the visit even better was the friendly and down-to-earth staff. They made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attentive service. If you 're craving a taste of Britain in Newport, Kellie 's Café is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!"

"My wife and I were in Newport for three days to celebrate our 40th meeting-anniversary. My Yelp research led me to The Mooring for dinner. And I got massive husband points!! Thank you! The festive and inviting entrance let us know something good was in store for us--and we were correct! We were seated immediately, honoring our 8 p.m. reservation. I ordered a half dozen oysters-two different types. They were so fresh, tasty, and plump, that I ordered three more. My wife had little necks similarly fresh and tasty and (just ok) clam chowder. My main course was the whole roasted fish which was branzino that evening. My huge fish beurre blanc was roasted so perfectly that I felt like we were sitting on a Caribbean beach! It was THE highlight of the exquisite meal! The fingerling potatoes were wonderfully firm and seasoned. We'll take that drive from NYC again soon just to replay our memorable experiencce at The Mooring!!"

"Very expensive for the quality of the food. Feels like an amateur chef. Steak: pretty chewy for over $60 a la carte; Sides: heavy handed. Veg: Broccolini should be bright green. Ours was brown. Fish of the day? Drowning in rich sauce and overly stuffed with heavy stuffing. The biggest issue? Lobster that tasted strongly of ammonia. Sent it back after unfortunately swallowing a bite and they said that it would be removed from the bill. Well, I would hope so. Nothing else was offered in exchange; no other bill reduction. Hoping I do not end up sick as a result. That ended up ruining the VERY expensive meal. The service otherwise was surprisingly inattentive. I had so been looking forward to good seafood in Newport. There is simply no excuse for serving spoiled lobster in a restaurant like this. The response was wholly inadequate as well. Would definitely not go back or recommend."

I have had Sushi all over the World...This is on par with the best.Habachi Scallops appNigiri platter....(Chef's choice)My Wife is Korean and was right at home with the Chef and his Wife but our waitstaff were locals and we had GREAT service throughout.We were hungry having laft a previous restaurant that failed our reservation by 2 hours so I M Sushi was our salvation!So much so had a second platter....awesome!How do I we say just go and experience the Premier Newport Sushi Restaurant"

"This restaurant is a complete joke! I went once and had a pleasant experience...but will NEVER return! Mamma Luisa staff believe their establishment is of the same quality as a New York restaurant and the truth is..they're not even close. On top of that, their staff is beyond rude! After having to cancel due to an emergency (being robbed), we were told we were still going to have our card charged for not showing up. Well here is the photo proof! The host was so unbelievably rude...I am still in shock. Do not make a reservation here! On the off chance you have to cancel, they'll rob you too!"
