The hostess was super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed eating out back with the river view. It was busy and the food was okay.

Service was great! Food is absolutely terrible. Brisket was so tough it’s not chewable. Croutons on salad were so hard I had to spit them out. 5 of us was over $200 and not worth it. Find another local option for food.

This is a good little BBQ restaurant on Bay Street. I had the BBQ pulled pork platter with cole slaw and loaded grits. The BBQ sauce is really good, with a sweet flavor to it. The cole slaw had a pleasant taste to it, with a nice balance of vinegar and mayonnaise. Visualizza piatti

Q has some of the best atmosphere and one of the best outdoor views. Only complaint is I've been here a few times and the food tends to come out slow. It's not a big deal, just not a place to choose if you need a quick bite! Food is overall yummy with lots of different menu options. It's one of my favorite places in Beaufort!

Overall the food here is decent my husband enjoyed the fried shrimp and I enjoyed the wings although one of my wings was just a fried piece of bone. They had good flavor. The Mac cheese was very bland but my son liked it. The service was really good the ladies were so nice. I’d say go here if you’re in the area but don’t go out of your way.

We got the barnyard dish to try it all. The BBQ ribs, pulled pork and chicken were good. The burnt ends were overdone and too fatty, the bread points with it were burnt. The brisket was mostly fat and hardly any meat plus no bark on it like most briskets do. Skip the baked beans, tasteless (how can that be when you're a BBQ place?? Throw some sauce and meat in them! We absolutely enjoyed our dine in experience at Q on Bay. From appetizers to entrees, everything was delicious. It had a great atmosphere and our waitress was nothing short of fantastic. They had live music going on outside. I loved the fact that you can just walk to the boardwalk. It's especially helpful if you have kids who are impatient when waiting for food! I will definitely return on our next visit to Beaufort South Carolina.

First time in the area and I wanted to try their bbq. I ordered the bbq plater that consisted of pulled chicken, pulled pork (but they gave me ribs) one slice of brisket and my two sides were cole slaw and green beans. Overall it was ok. The pulled chicken was bland. Ribs had a good rub, brisket was dry and the sides were ok. The waitress was very sweet and were honest about the baked beans, which is why I ordered green beans. The outdoor seating is phenomenal! You’re literally on the river/sound and the view is tranquil. Ive had my bbq fix and now it’s time for my seafood fix. Who’s best on the list…

If you find yourself in downtown Beaufort, make sure to visit Q on the Bay. It was my first experience at this restaurant, but as a local, I'll definitely return the next time I'm back home. I tried the wings and fries, and I must say, the wings are smoked before being fried, giving them a wonderful flavor. The fries were fantastic as well. My wife ordered a seafood platter that included fish, shrimp, and fries. While she thought the fish was a bit too fresh for her taste, she still enjoyed the meal overall, which is expected in Beaufort.
