"Truly fine food served in a very professional manner at an historic setting. A walk through the grounds and seeing the historical pictures are a must. When we entered the Garden Patio there was a smoke from a decorative fire that was taken care of when we commented as we were seated. The food served was perfectly created and each of four different requests were thoroughly enjoyed."

"I love coming to this place for lunch! The pizza and wraps are delicious. It's always a treat to get food from here. I love the Zesty Asian Chicken Wrap and the little garlic rolls. The people who work there are always sweet and have started to recognize me : Definitely worth a visit if you want good food in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5"

"After being seated, I asked one of the servers (not the manager) To switch out the table with the one next to me because our table was wobbling, but I wanted to stay in the same spot. However he insisted upon wanting me to explain why I couldn’t just move to the other table, which annoyed me. But as soon as my husband arrived to the table, he move the table. At that point I was ready to leave, but I stayed For my husband’s birthday lunch. The food quality has declined significantly. I ordered double crab cakes mashed potatoes and Asparagus. The crab cakes were full of filler and did not taste good. The asparagus was rubbery And dry and the mashed potatoes were not as good as they used to be. My husband ordered grilled shrimp on a Caesar salad. The shrimp were miniature and the salad was overly covered with Parmesan cheese, he could only eat the shrimp a bit of the salad. In the end, the manager removed the The crab cake meal from our bill and explained something to the effect of the Inventory being low which impacted the quality of the food, having to be stretched. And to top it all off, there was a female server with an exposed bloody looking arm... very disgusting to see. When I mentioned it to the manager he seemed surprised but then came back and said that he had told her to put A bandage on it. However when we saw her again she had a blue mask halfway covering it. We are longtime customers for approx over 15 years and recall when the restaurant food was excellent. But Something has changed. "Lately, I'm reserving 5 star reviews for places that exceed my expectations. I had pretty high expectations for Linwoods, and they exceeded my high expectations. First of all, I really like linen table cloths, but I rarely see them in outdoor venues. A fresh linen table cloth is very reassuring, especially during a pandemic. Our server, Holly, was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The menu, often a source of infectious particles, was printed on paper and was disposable. I know that for sure because Holly crumpled them up when she collected them after we ordered. The menu items were a bit pricey, but reasonable for such a nice venue. I had French onion soup. It was excellent. I enjoy French onion soup, and I have ordered it at lots of restaurants. This French onion soup was among the best I have ever had. For my entrée, I had a cheeseburger. It was large, juicy, and it was prepared just the way I wanted it. It was delicious. There was not a separate person to bus our table, but Holly was just as good at removing items that we no longer needed as she was at bringing our next items to the table. I was quite impressed by our whole dining experience, and I heartily recommend Linwoods."
