This restaurant has recently closed its doors for good. The shutdown came suddenly and without any explanation. It’s truly a loss for Beech Mountain.

We enjoyed a relaxed and tasty meal at Rascals. The crab cake sandwich was loaded with crab meat, and the hamburger was juicy and delicious. The fries were fantastic, and the portions were generous! The service was excellent; even with a small staff, the chef came out to discuss my husband's food allergies to ensure everything was safe for him. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we can't wait to return for another great meal.

I visited Rascal's for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The food was absolutely delicious! My burger was the best I've ever had; it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. My wife loved her crab cake, which was packed with crab meat and not overly seasoned. The fries that came with our sandwiches were also fantastic. For dessert, we shared a generous slice of chocolate mousse cake—so good! Despite being understaffed, the servers were very attentive. I was particularly impressed that the chef came to our table to discuss my food allergies and ensure my meal was prepared accordingly. That's what I call great service! We'll definitely be returning!

I'm a local just off the mountain came up to Beech during home renovations and is my first time here at Rascals believe it or not! What a gem! The food is out of this world with truffle fries a Sunday brunch menu that will make your tongue smack your brains out! Too many good things, made it hard for us to decide, so we waited with the bartender making their famous Rascals **** Mary which did not disappoint its a meal in itself and they ask you how spicy you like it so it's made to order, Danielle was the manager on duty and was more than accommodating, leaving here feeling like family, they've just got this warm welcoming approach here and we've had a great day, awesome experience!
