I had asked a “fast” table, which means quite one, but we were literally shown in the middle of everything a two person. the hostess was not willing to accommodate us and even took a bit of a stance. fortunately, the waiting staff arrived and moved us to a nearby stand. from there, everything was quite perfect. our server, john, was attentive, but not too attentive.) he showed a good sense of humor and made great recommendations. Eat, noise level, ambiente were all top notch. I sometimes forget rays because it is not in avalon or city center, but it is one of the best restaurants in the opposite, and should not be overlooked."

First time dining at this establishment and I was pleased with their attentiveness and service. The sommelier provided and excellent wine selection for my date that complimented her dinner selection. Would definitely look to visit again

This was our second time at Ray's and as before the food was excellent. The service started out good until a server dumped a glass of wine into my son-in-law's lap. The wine went all the way down into his shoes. The waiter and manager( were very apologetic and helped him to clean up. The rest of the meal went well BUT my problem with the restaurant's management is no one offered to comp his drink, any part of our check or anything. They just went on about their business. I feel for a restaurant that is this expensive and suppose to be upscale not to do something as a courtesy is inexcusable. I will think twice before coming back especially with family
