This is the best homestyle food I've had since moving from the South. The staff is very friendly, too!

I really enjoyed the food and the prices were great, but the lack of air conditioning made the heat unbearable! Additionally, there were a lot of flies that kept landing on us while we were eating. If they can address the fly issue, I'd be happy to update my review. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 3

I visited the restaurant yesterday and initially, everything seemed fine. However, the food took a long time to arrive. As more customers came in, we noticed that the three families who arrived after us received their meals first, while we ended up with our cold food last. I was quite disappointed with the experience.

We went to Sandy to visit friends, on our way home decided to get Chinese here. So happy indoor dining is available now and want to help small business. We were not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. Every one was wearing mask and gloves and were cleaning after each table. They all were covid aware. Our food came quick and hot, it was sooooo good!!! We really enjoy dining at the Red Apple. The service is excellent. You can stick with traditional Chinese cuisine by choosing something from the combination menu, or opt for a larger order from the Chef's Specials. We particularly like the Kung Pao Chicken and Happy Family dishes. They also have a full bar—having a 7 and 7 is a must for us when we're enjoying Chinese food. We haven't tried breakfast there yet, but I've heard it's quite good.

Unfortunately, the breakfast falls into the category of low-quality, diner-style fare, relying heavily on pre-made, shelf-stable ingredients suited for kitchens lacking skill. The hash browns were mostly undercooked in the center, and the hollandaise sauce was bland, missing both salt and acidity. The portion sizes are excessively large—enough to be shared among three people. This seems typical of the area, as many locals appear unfamiliar with what constitutes good food.

My husband and I found this little gem years ago when he was looking for a restaurant that served Open Faced Turkey sandwiches. So we headed out from Gladstone and in really no time we were there. They serve both American and Chinese foods and do a nice job with both. From the Open faced Beef and Turkey sandwiches, to the Salt Pepper Shrimp and Almond Fried Chicken. We've not found anything they offer that doesn't taste great. Fanny our server is always there to make our visit wonderful. They do offer a full bar as well. Visualizza piatti
