"Red Peony was perfect for our family gathering of 8 for a Saturday lunch. We started with an assortment of appetizers and dim-sum--veggie spring rolls, pork dumplings, crispy purple yam with sesame, turnip cakes, and chicken soup buns. Everything was delicious! We shared entrees of seafood rice cakes, chicken broccoli, and shanghai fried rice. The portion sizes were large enough to feed everyone and we still had leftovers. Everything about Red Peony was wonderful--we'll definitely be back."

The rice was cold. The crispy duck was dry with NO SAUCE OR VEGETABLES. The shrimp dish was ok. Overall, I wouldn’t return which is disappointing since it’s nearby.

We were looking for a chinese restaurant in Mid Town that had good food, good service and nice decor. We found everything we were looking for in Red Peony. The service was pleasant and efficient. The choices of food were plenty and the quality of the food was outstanding. We will definitely return
