We order the yellowtail, stroganoff, and key lime pie and think it's the best food in key west. We visit key west twice a year and make a reservation here every visit. Highly recommend!!!

We were an hour early because of rain and they were flexible with our reservation's and we sat at the bar. Best seat in the house! Great service and the food was outstanding. The beef stroganoff was over the top and the favorite of our table.

Red Shoe had some of the best food I've had. The dishes had unique flavors, and everyone liked their order. The server, who could not have been nicer, picked out great wines, and made great recommendations for our order. I highly recommended Red Shoe Island Bistro.

The food was excellent overall, with a wonderful atmosphere and outstanding service from Suzie! The owner, John, is very welcoming and ensures that every guest has a great experience. The food, service (thanks to Sebastian), and atmosphere were all wonderful. We tried the pork cheek sliders, the fish special, and the Stroganoff, and everything was fantastic. We can't wait to return and share our experience with all our friends! Thank you, Red Shoe, for a lovely evening.

We had an amazing experience here on our first night in Key West. I'm really glad we made a reservation before our trip. Although the restaurant was quite busy, the staff did everything they could to make sure all the guests were accommodated. Personally, two of my favorite dishes are Shrimp and Grits and Chile Relleno. While they’re different, I decided to try their stuffed Poblano Pepper, which is somewhat similar to Shrimp and Grits Relleno. Regardless, I absolutely loved it! The server and the owner explained that this dish used to be a special but became so popular that it’s now on the regular menu—and I can definitely see why!

One of the best all-time meals we have ever had, and we have eaten at great restaurants around the world. There was not one that was brought to our table that we didn't thoroughly enjoy. Our server Victor was fantastic both in service and in his style and conversation Steven, the owner was attentive and engaging. The seafood was so very very fresh and each dish had a sauce or flavor was unique to that dish. Our favorites were the shrimp mango toast as well as the lobster stuffed shrimp appetizers. We also enjoyed our Caesar salad and vanilla goat cheese salad, very much. For dinner the seafood medley with fresh pasta was delicious.
