"The food and service were excellent as usual. HOWEVER, we went there for Tuesday's All U Can Eat Crablegs and after we were seated were told Rhett's no longer offers that. We were beyond disappointed. We had been going about once a month since it began. We were shocked! Then we find out that only 1 1/2 lb. would be $33 without any sides! We saw the prices rise over the last couple of years but it was a special treat for my grandson and me so even though really pricey (usually $100 after tip) it was worth it. Had we known it was no longer offered we would have gone elsewhere. We really did only go there on Tuesdays. They should at least put a sign on the window or board on Tuesdays to let people know. It was a tradition but sadly no more."

Makes the 4th time we had been to Rhett's. We were celebrating my husbands 50 th birthday. Great food, great service. Definitely worth the ride over the mtn! Visualizza piatti

Oysters were superb especially the Oysters Rockefeller! The She Crab soup was awesome! Our bartender was so nice and personable and took great care of us! Will return if ever in the area again!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic, but unfortunately, their reservation system fell short when we arrived without a real booking. They handled the situation with style, but OpenTable really needs to improve!

Sadly I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We were told we could only order from pages 1 3 of the menu, which happened to be the most expensive. For the food we got, it was not worth $55. Small selection and high prices. I won't be back Visualizza piatti

My reservation wasn't recorded properly, and the fish and chips were just average. The coconut shrimp was overcooked, and the bar staff didn’t know how to make a mojito. Charlottesville has some great restaurants, but this place didn’t live up to that standard. I don’t think I’ll be back.

One important thing to note is that Rhett's does not actually use OpenTable for reservations; they use Yap, I believe. When we arrived, we discovered that we, along with several other families, were not on the reservation list for that Sunday afternoon. However, Rhett himself came out to apologize and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was positive. I highly recommend Rhett's—they truly take care of their customers! Just make sure not to book through OpenTable.
