Excellent service—very quick and polite. The food was delicious and flavorful, and the view was fantastic. The only strange thing we noticed was that when we shared a main dish, even a special, there was an extra $4 charge. Overall, it’s a great location and a pleasant experience.

Came back for another try and was definitely not disappointed. The fish and veggies were good and the service for our huge party of folks was pretty good too. My husband loves the catfish, coleslaw, and hush puppies. This place is right on the lake with a great bayou view. The place has incredible ambiance for sure.

River Bend was s total surprise. The food and the service was superb. The chef checked on us a number of times and his wife was our server. Everything was prepared on site. All our food came out hot and fresh. If you're in Marshall, Jefferson or Shreveport, River Bend is a short drive and well worth it. You won't be disappointed. Visualizza piatti

Best restaurant in or near Caddo Lake. It's pricier than most other options but sooooo worth it. The view of the lake alone would make it worthwhile, but add to that an extensive seafood menu with huge servings and great service and you have a clear winner. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in the area, even just for a day or two, make sure you add this to your itinerary.

My friend says our appetizer sampler (shrimp, frog legs, alligator) and our catfish dinner is the best meal she has ever had. I won't go that far, but it was the best catfish I have ever had. Every menu item we had was outstanding. And the staff, especially Kelvin, were immensely friendly. The place deserved six stars. The location is confusing. First time for us to eat at River Bend. The set up hush puppies , beans coleslaw , were really all you needed ! The coleslaw may be the best I've eaten. I had the chicken fried steak with onion rings and a green salad. Every bite was good, the chicken fry was a little bit on the spicy side. Honestly we were so full from the set up , it was hard to enjoy the main course. My wife had the catfish and veggies. She loved it ! When you go , go hungry and you'll leave full. The food is delicious and enhanced by the picturesque setting. The fried catfish is just what you’d expect, and the French fries are perfectly crispy. Many diners flock here for the hush puppies, whether with or without jalapeños, served alongside beans and coleslaw—the perfect appetizer. Some come just for those! The redfish, fried green tomatoes, and gator bites are also standout dishes. Service is usually attentive, adding to the overall experience. While it may be a drive to reach RiverBend, the beautiful views and tasty catfish make it well worth the trip.

Can't beat the location and view for this area. It's really a pleasant drive finding this off the beaten path Resturant. That being said I'm sorry to report the food is average. The blackened redfish with a crawfish sauce while acceptable was not blackened and there was maybe a tablespoon of sauce on top. The fried catfish was typical thin fillet you get anywhere but over cooked. The shrimp were way over cooked. The prices are high for the quality you get. One entre was 17.50 and the other 20. Just wasn't worth it based on the quality we were served. So, if I were to go back I'd get the hamburger and share it while enjoying the view and save about 40 dollies!

While the prices were slightly higher than average, that's pretty typical for a restaurant like this. Mike ordered a salad, and the setup that came with most meals was impressive. The beans were tasty, and the coleslaw and enormous hush puppies were absolutely delicious! I couldn't resist finishing off the hush puppies, as they were just that good. My grilled redfish and vegetables arrived looking great. However, as mentioned in other reviews, there was only a small spoonful of topping in the center of the fish.
