Awesome place with a great tex mex menu. Mom and pop restaurant that has been there for many years and deserves a lot of local support during these times. Shrimp tacos and awesome with a large margarita!

We went on a Wednesday night and seemed like only 2 people were working. Service was slow and the food was ok. I will not be going back. I have had better service and food in other Tex Mex restaurants in the area.

Went for drinks and dinner tonight for the first time! Food, service and drinks were fantastic! We had grouper and margaritas, so yummy! Our server was so attentive and the owner was so nice to meet! We will be back! I highly recommend this local spot.

This restaurant is less crowded and noisy compared to similar places. The food is good, and you can reorder if you're not satisfied. There is plenty of parking, and when the weather is nice, the outdoor space is fantastic. It's a great local spot that's definitely worth supporting.

I want to defend this restaurant after reading some of the reviews. I've been here nearly a dozen times, usually during happy hour. Their frozen margaritas are delicious! The portions are generous and the food is well-prepared. I've never had a bad meal or experienced poor service. Since it's a small family-run business, I understand that they might be busy, which can lead to some tables not being cleaned or a bit of wait time. I haven't encountered any issues myself, but even if I did, I'd overlook them because the food is just that good. I highly recommend giving it a try!

We used to go to Rivera's a lot, pre covid. Our last trip was disappointing. When we walked in to the restaurant, there were several employees near the door smoking so we had to walk through that. The smoke was present during our dinner because they were very close to the open doors. When we ordered the waitress told us they were out of several things on the menu. No big deal but the awful cigarette smell and the dirtiness of the place our feet were sticking to the floor) makes us not want to go back.
