Amazing restaurant! I was able to meet the owners. Both the husband and wife were so friendly. I can't praise this restaurant enough. The food and experience here were unmatched. Roadside is truly an awesome restaurant. The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection and it tasted like meat, The coleslaw was out of this world and the french fries were crispy and hot. The family that runs this place are great . They are friendly and always try to accommodate all their customers. Over the years I have tried just about everything on the menu and while my favorites are the ceasar salad and wings everything else is also delicious. Roadside is a highly underrated gem in Palmer. A true family-run business with excellent customer service. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is a homey, retro feel. The vast majority of their food is good. Their food is significantly better than the other similar options in Palmer. The only downside is their limited hours. Love the pizza and if you want it by the slice be aware they are HUGE! Thin, crisp crust and slightly tangy sauce. The wings are perfect and crispy — you don’t need to ask for them “we’ll done” and you might want to request a little extra sauce on the side to dip. Nice folks to talk to and it’s a very pleasant almost old timey atmosphere inside. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because delivery isn’t always available and that’s probably due to labor shortage (they don’t do Door Dash etc and I don’t blame them because it’s a major cost for a mom and pop business).
