"Once again, an outstanding meal at Robert’s. It was a nice quiet lunch, and Audrey took great care of our table like she always does. It was also nice to spend some time talking with Robert about the business, and all the specialty pizzas that they serve. We had meatballs as an appetizer, plus a tremendous Mediterranean salad, and a wonderful “Rita” pizza. This is the place to go for good quality dining and tremendous taste. Don’t forget to get the apple pie dessert too. Truly sublime!"

We love dining at Robert’s, our favorite pizza spot in Chicago, and it certainly lived up to our expectations last night. The “NY style” pizza was absolutely amazing, with a crust that was incredibly delicious. We can’t wait to come back!

It was a treat to be out and about with a huge thank you to the management team at Robert's that made a special effort to provide us a table away from the thoroughfare in support our social distancing needs.The service was quick and the pizza was excellent. "We absolutely adore this restaurant! We've visited three times now, but this was our first experience at the new location, and the atmosphere is wonderful! I ordered the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta and a lemon drop martini, and both dishes were delicious. As always, the service was outstanding! Everyone enjoyed their meal, and they made my birthday dinner extra special by treating us to a complimentary dessert and singing to celebrate!"

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"I'll never go back. it was so disappointing. the service was bad. the waiter was uninterested. the wrong food came out. the second time was a steak cold and one was raw. the sides must be rushed because of the original compounding. they were not cooked. never ate, had to go and go to another place to dinner."

"We had a fabulous waiter who helped up move to a banquet where we could at least talk. Super loud, unbearably so. Food was of good quality, but lacked punch. Especially for the price. I don't need to go back, but others must have loved it. It was super crowded."
