"This is one of the best seafood restaurants I've been to. I was visiting Rockport with family over Easter weekend, and every night we had seafood. I was really wanting some clam chowder some scallops. When the family decided on this place (they had been before loved it, so much in fact they ate lunch, and came back for dinner the same day) I was excited to see they had all this more on the menu. I was not disappointed! The clam chowder was fantastic fresh, some of the best I've had. The scallops where phenomenal. The sauce they were cooked in were so good I spooned it on my asparagus. it was garnished with a nice little scallion radish. Someone else in my family let me try thier shrimp scampi.. wow! Best I've ever ate. Shrimp was nice size and sauce, perfect. The only thing to me that was marginal was the rice pilaf. It needed more flavor, but it was still fine. The whole meal service were top notch, as was our server who had to keep track of everything separate tickets. We ate in the executive lounge because we had 13 in our party. I highly recommend this place. This was the culinary highlight of my trip."

"First time dining here and oh my gosh, our party of 4 loved it! They were busy and we had to wait a bit for service, but Nancy handled the situation well and we didn’t mind waiting. The cocktails were the bomb(kudos to the bartender) and I can recommend the Angels and Deamon, the Gimlit and the Zacapa Pina. My friends tried the Deviled Eggs and said they were excellent! The Poblano Pepper soup was so tasty and I enjoyed the house salad because the salad dressing was excellent. For dinner 3 of us had Shrimp Scampi and the shrimp were large and plentiful and the pasta and sauce delicious. My friend got the Drum fish w risotto and thought it was the best he’s ever had. Oh and the Brussel Sprouts (I ordered without cheese)tasted delicious!! Split a Chocolate Brûlée for dessert and it was excellent too. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and had a good vibe. We will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: They have some vegetable sides and I ordered my salad and Brussel sprouts without cheese. "Good sandwiches, decent soups. Service is friendly but can be a little spotty if they are busy, kitchen can also be slow in getting a sandwich out. The French Dip and Reuben deserve 4 stars and would be my recommendation, however today I had the 1/2 SF Turkey sandwich and cup of Tomato Soup and am reviewing that, sandwich was pretty good for what it was, the soup was okay. Note: If the parking lot is full then there is probably a wait for a table, the dining room is fairly small. Now for the negative, it is a little pricey for a lite lunch as they call it at least IMO. See attached photos and you can judge for yourself. I try not to criticize restaurants nowadays for prices and service as I know costs have gone up and good help is hard to come by. Honestly, I blame this half witted Administration for the excruciating inflation and overwhelming rising of costs over the last 3 years. But then what have they done right? I haven 't tried their breakfast but plan to at some point."

"Overall, look to stop here when you're here for more than a day. The fried fish and shrimp were awesome! If you get the combo and two side salads, it is plenty of food for most. I did just the fried shrimp with sweet potato fries, and I couldn't finish it. Two others in our group split the combo with fries and side salads and couldn't finish it. The bacon burger was huge with a double patty and lots of fries. I would say share it and save room for dessert because I had an awesome piece of exploding chocolate cake. I recommend coffee with the cake. I will note that the fries were average for me. The seasoned fries were crisp, but light on seasoning, which for my father-in-law would be great. The sweet potato fries were delicious, but I wish they were a bit more crisp. So, the lack of 4 stars had more to do with the wait staff. She was not a ray of sunshine, but I think she was having a rough day because she had others that helped her land the plane, which speaks well of the staff. We all have bad days. The place had a family feel, like visiting the grandparents fishing cabin. Note, this is CASH ONLY, and no alcohol, well BYOB. I doubt these will be issues, but they may require a bit more planning."

"I have made reservations here 60 days before today's arrival. This was based on my experience last year, which was great. My reservation was for 8 pm - Party of 2-we came around 19:50 pm and sat. It took about 10 minutes to get water. Finally, a waitress arrived and took our drinks order and we ordered an appetizer. They arrived at 8:30 - we had ordered our dinner before our appetizer arrived. At 9:30 a.m. our waitress informed us that the staff in the kitchen fought and our food was on the way. That was a good 1:15 hour after we had ordered our duck. At 9:45 we gave up and told our waitress to cancel the order. She took our ticket and took away our ducks. After leaving, I ask you to talk to the owner/manager and the lady said we would offer you a solution - I ask what solution, but none was offered. I said I had my reservation 60 days ago and waited almost 1.5 hours for my duck. They offered nothing at all for such a terrible experience and it was extremely rude - as it was my fault or so. I thought we were more than patient to wait an hour. Not sure what's going on here, but go to Wild Prawn - excellent service and food. We ate the night before."
