"Overall, it was a decent experience. They offer unique takes on pizza, and the menu is quite extensive. The service was a bit inconsistent, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. Given the price we paid, I thought it was acceptable, but it could have been improved. It seemed like the staff might have been overwhelmed and in need of breaks, which could explain the uneven service. On the positive side, the place was clean."

"I recently dined at Double Horse Bistro and I was truly impressed by the quality of the food. As a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I frequently travel from E.B. to Randolph to pick up meals for my family. However, after experiencing the dishes at Double Horse, I realize that I won’t need to make that journey again. The food is fresh, and the portion sizes are perfectly balanced. I enjoyed the chicken noodle pho and the vermicelli noodle dish with grilled pork, both of which were delicious and authentically prepared. For those who are new to Vietnamese cuisine, these dishes are an excellent introduction. The menu also boasts a wide variety of other options. Thank you, Double Horse Bistro – I will definitely be returning soon!"

"I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner, and I must say it was quite an enjoyable experience overall. For the meal, I found the food to be decent, offering flavors that were satisfying but not particularly outstanding. It’s safe to say that the culinary offerings could use a bit of enhancement, so I would rate the food a 3 out of 5. However, the service was exceptional. Our server was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. This definitely elevated our experience, earning a solid 5 for service. The atmosphere was equally impressive, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that made the evening feel special. I would also rate the atmosphere a 5. Overall, while the food could be improved, the outstanding service and inviting atmosphere make this restaurant worth a visit. Expect to spend around $30 to $50 per person for a pleasant dinner experience."

"I've been looking for a new breakfast place since Jac's closed and I was very happy with my experience here! I ordered Irish eggs benedict with home fries and corn bread as takeout. One other review commented on their poached eggs being over hard but I'm not a fan of runny eggs so finding mine were over medium was perfect for me. The portions were generous and the ratio of the benny ingredients was good with delicious homemade hash. My only constructive criticism was the English muffin could've been less toasted to make it easier to cut but it was delicious to eat! Home fries had a lot more flavor than I expect from breakfast diners so I was very happy with them. Then the cornbread! Omgosh. I am so fussy about cornbread and had yet to find somewhere in New England that makes a good one but dang, this cornbread was incredible. I would literally go back for just cornbread lol. I probably will soon. The takeout service was super quick and friendly. I got the impression they really care about their customers and want us to have a good experience. I asked to purchase a cookie and she said they are trialing them as a new offering and gave me two for free, how sweet! I consider myself a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur and try them every where I go. These are a crispy style cookie, which is not my personal preference, but the recipe is perfect. Very good flavor cookie, I would love to see them bake them on a lower temp and/or shorter time for a softer cookie but as a new product trial, they are definitely on the right track! I will be back!"

"Have you ever visited a restaurant where the most unforgettable moment was the bill? I bet you haven’t—until you go to Mineiros. I visited with my wife and two kids, and I was shocked by how high the bill turned out to be. While the food was good, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the place was clean, I have to admit that asking the waitress for the check was a harsh experience that I'll never forget. There’s nothing wrong with paying a fair price for good food and service, but $6.50 for a lemonade? That caught me off guard. I suppose I should have checked the menu more closely. My kids didn’t even order the BBQ, yet I was still charged for it, plus a mandatory 20% tip. On the bright side, I can say that when I recover from this financial blow, I’ll be eager to return to Rockland."
