"The food was ok but the person making it was very angry and offensive. Hey, this is Beacon not West 8th Street! Get a grip....I used to go regularly but no more. I was treated in a nasty and demeaning way b/c I wanted to sit outside and the proprietor didn't want to unchain the table and 2 chairs! Too much trouble! Hey, if you long for the old NYC nasty vibe, go here!"

Visiting Beacon from NYC and found this place. Ordered the S’mores and mixed berries crepes and they were great. They were even kind enough to stay late on our second visit to make us a order to go. Definitely recommend

It took a little longer than the usual expected time to get our food, but given that it appeared to be only one cook and one wait staff, who was really doing an awesome job trying to keep up with customer's orders, I can totally understand the wait. Once food arrived, it was very delicious and worth the wait.
