Awesome service and great food. Generous portions and awesome ice cream as well. A blast from the past! This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Well worth the hour trip to experience.

It’s 11:30 AM, and the restaurant is already packed! After having lunch with our grandchildren, we completely understand why. The atmosphere is charming and nostalgic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It’s a fantastic spot!

This is a fantastic spot to dine! The ambiance resembles an old-fashioned soda shop, and there's plenty of seating available. We visited on a Saturday when they were quite busy, but the service was excellent. The food is both delicious and reasonably priced. Visualizza piatti

What a charming treat. This old fashioned drug store converted to a restaurant is charming and stuffed with antiques and nostalgia. We were first in the door today followed by a flood of customers. There are two floors with areas for big groups. I ordered a Chicago dog. It was busy and took a little longer than I would expect. As for the Chicago dog, they nailed it. It even came with chips for a special price of $5.25. Very busy and definitely worth the drive.

FOOD: The gambler:a perfectly cooked flat iron steak on grilled onions and hot fries 9/10 Wife got the steak and cheese.... It was ok there was a weird texture with all the meat/ onions and peppers that neither of us liked 5/10 Haw river mud dessert was awesome 9/10 Atmosphere: lots of old memorabilia 7/10 New waiter was struggling a bit as they were very busy. But the manager stepped right in when they forgot about our dessert order.. 7/10 Overall : 7.5 /10 Definitely will be back

Super cool soda shop made to be period accurate to early 1900s and the food was very very good. Definitely a come for the interior, stay for the great food sort of place. A top recommendation is the apple turnover with a scoop of ice cream, and if ordering fries, I found the spiral cut fries better and crispier than the thin cut. I also found out that an egg cream isn't for me since I found out carbonated chocolate milk offputting to me, which isn't against the place as that's what an egg cream is and I'm glad to figure that out.
