"Was in the area and needed a place to go for breakfast that had vegan options. Note- ask for the separate menu with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items. I got the Thai peanut wrap with kettle chips. It was the best wrap I ever had. My dad got the veggie skillet and enjoyed it. This place also has a beautiful atmosphere and good music. Will definitely come back for dinner to try the black bean burger. Vegetarian options: Offers more vegetarian than vegan options but still good considering it’s in Brainerd Dietary restrictions: Has Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options"

I really enjoyed the variety of true plant-based dishes at this restaurant, not just limited or symbolic choices. The walnut wild rice burger and muhammara appetizer were both delicious. They also had a great selection of local craft beers on tap.

I have been to many restaurants in the past year and this place far surpasses them all in terms of food, atmosphere, and service. The staff, especially Tami, were attentive to our table and offered great menu recommendations. If you're unsure where to eat, definitely give this place a try - you won't regret it. We stopped by this restaurant in Brainerd for lunch and were greeted by very friendly staff. The food was decent, with the standout being the delicious veggie spring rolls. The sweet potato fries had a sweet topping that I wasn't accustomed to, so they weren't my favorite. The veggie wings were tasty, though not spicy, and I'm not really a fan of barbecue sauces. The waitresses were incredibly kind, as were all the people in the area. Everyone was helpful and the bathrooms were kept very clean.

Our party of 4 had some difficulty ordering vegetarian and vegan dishes at Sage on Laurel, requiring the assistance of 2 servers, 2 different menus, and many questions. The vegetarian menu seemed to be outdated, so we had to piece together our options. Despite the confusion, our server was friendly, patient, attentive, and apologetic. I appreciated her willingness to help and patience with our inquiries. My tofu peanut wrap was satisfactory but not particularly memorable. The decor of the restaurant was unique and created a cozy, neighborhood atmosphere.
