"We have been coming to the Pine Tavern for years. We had seating on the terrace and the temperature. was perfect with a slight breeze. We were a group of 6 people. The rueben sandwich was very dry ... not much 1000 island dressing. One person in our group ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them a second drink. We all thought the server should have explained that this was from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very good time together."

We've been there before and really enjoyed it. This time we were disappointed. We were there for a birthday party. The meeting process was very disorganized. Our service was very slow. They seemed understaffed.

Great atmosphere and ambience. The setting for al fresco dining - along the river with a wonderful deck and patio - makes for a wonderful summer experience. Our waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but not great. We will definitely come back next time we are in Bend.
