"The food was very authentic! Rise and beans that accompany the plates were definitely home made! The portions were just right and the freshness of the food was incredible, food came out in a timely manner. Lots to pick out from the bakery side. Only thing that could use improvement is customer service. The waiter was super friendly and very professional but did lag a bit on checking up to see if we needed anything. Other than that highly recommend it! This is us authentic as it's going to get! Good for crowds and kids! P.s avoid sitting by the door in the back dinning area and dining are could use some vacuuming"

The service was fantastic. Our server was very helpful and exceptionally patient with my young son. We got there just as the bakery was opening for breakfast. The coffee was hot and strong, the eggs were beautiful and buttery, and the croissants were flaky and delicious.

San Luis Rey Bakery did an outstanding job making my wife's birthday cake. I've never ordered here before and took a chance by ordering a custom cake over the phone. They knew exactly what I wanted and made helpful suggestions. The final product was ready on time and looked and tasted even better than expected at a very reasonable price. My wife had a fantastic birthday thanks to San Luis Rey Bakery. Thanks, guys!
