"It may not have the greatest atmosphere and the service at the beginning of our visit was somewhat slow, but every single piece of food we ate was excellent and we plan to go back very soon. It is all freshly prepared and the cook knows what he does the sushi was excellent and there is a good mix of traditional and more modern types. "We went to Ile d'Oleron and stopped in St Pierre for lunch After walking around past a lot of tourist type restaurants we found this little place behind the market What a gem Staff were friendly and helpful and we had the menu du jour 3 courses for 16€ good portion size tasty and well presented Amazing starter rillettes of canard or rillettes of seafood Main was panmentier of lamb (basically shepherds pie with shredded lamb rather than mince) it was delicious Desert was either Charentais cheesecake or Vendee flan both were superb We were amazed that such a small place could supply such wonderful food given there was a party of 14 in eating as well Good quality fresh ingredients makes for good meals a place to revisit when we are back in the area"

"Our saviors! Imagine an avant-garde of August 15, the island of Oleron full of visitors, a storm and rain evening... all the restaurants were overturned, the most recommended to anonymity. After more than an hour to search in vain, we present ourselves to Médo, on the advice of a restaurantmaker further. We are welcomed with great goodness, and great empathy too. They were of course full, but since we were two families with children at early age, they arranged to free a sofa and a few armchairs... Thanks to them, we saved our last evening on the island, enjoying good wines! Thank you."

"Discovered in early July 2020, I returned 1 or 2 times a week throughout the summer to make my friends discover! The dishes are amazing, of a beautiful originality, their chocolate blower... as specified on their map, is it a murder when portions to take away? As for the addition... I sincerely think that if the dishes were 10 or 15€ more expensive on the map, it would not shock anyone but no, the prices are "normal" and it is very good like this haha As for the staff, the curiously mask this peculiarity of revealing true smiling people through their eyes, they are part of it! Smile, benevolent, rigolo even I would say so... Keep this line, it's perfect! Really, I highly recommend this restaurant Very fast!"
