"They have a small plate concept where you can order a variety of items in stages, and they serve them in smaller portions for sharing. This approach allows you to sample a wide range of flavors at reasonable prices. They also mentioned that the menu selections will change throughout the year. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the grilled oysters, the southern fried chicken, and the standout milk-braised pork, but those oysters were absolutely incredible! For my belated birthday, I received a complimentary dessert of lemon cake with blueberry purée, and while it was unlike any typical lemon cake, it was delightful and not overly sweet. It reminded me more of a lemon bread pudding, perfectly flavored. Our waiter, Jay, was fantastic too. The atmosphere is relaxing and upscale, with a lovely view—especially during sunset. And if you prefer not to dine indoors as the weather warms up, the patio will be a lovely spot to unwind with drinks and friends; it was quite lively out there last night due to the heating. I will definitely be returning!"

"This was our first visit to The Kennedy, and it will not be our last. The entire experience was excellent, from the service provided by our server, Chelsea, to the delicious food and quaint ambiance. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which she stated was some the best she has tasted. I was a bit more adventurous with the Pork Shank. I was not at all disappointed! The meat was fall off the bone tender and well accompanied by the hoisin sauce. The sides of rice and pickled vegetables salad nicely completed the meat. Great food and an excellent dining experience."

"Even though it 's been a while, I 've been here many, many times have enjoyed it, but for some reason the customer service was lacking. I asked about their beer list got a short, snide remark about 28 beers on tap then he just started to walked away until I yelled, 'Do you have any suggestions? ' He then quickly rattled off a bunch of numbers from the menu that was so fast I missed most of them. He wasn 't the only one. It was like the entire staff just didn 't care. Too bad, because the food is good."

"My wife and I genuinely want to like Dray Bar, but they keep stumbling. Last night they were about full. I understand staffing issues but they clearly have plenty of people out front. They simply can’t execute in the kitchen. Not a big deal they are out of things (calamari appetizer) but it would be better to tell a guest before they looked over the menu and made that choice. After our next choice apps were cleared, it was taking far too long for our entrees when the waitress approached us and explained that they had literally dropped one of our entrees on the floor. She indicated that they would put a rush on the do-over (a grilled chicken sandwich). That second attempt took yet another minutes, so long my wife and I were joking that the chef had obviously quit. The waitress kept apologizing and offered a free dessert, which we declined. A visit from the manager/owner would have been appreciated. This kind of thing has happened about every other time we have decided need here. Not the fault of the waitress but rather a kitchen that simply cannot produce food consistently even when the restaurant isn’t busy."

"I ordered chicken Parmesan over fettuccine Alfredo. When I received my takeout bag, I immediately noticed how light it felt. The portion of chicken was small, especially considering the price, and it was very dry, lacking any sauce to counteract its dryness. The fettuccine was also a bit on the drier side. While everything had good flavor, I was left wanting more from the meal. There was a side of bread that seemed promising, but it came without any oil, butter, or garlic. Coupled with the dry dish, the bread was a letdown and served only as a means to fill my stomach without adding any real enjoyment. Based on this experience, I doubt I would return or recommend this restaurant to others."
