"I visited Sea Ranch yesterday around 5 pm for a bowl of Beef Udon soup and it came with a freshly made California roll. Both were excellent and fresh. The broth had a home made taste to it which is a departure from most restaurant Udon offerings. I sipped it all after I polished off the noodles and beef. The place was very busy when I arrived and they were slow to acknowledge me and take my order. That said, the food was delivered to my table within 10 minutes of ordering. I stop in at Sea Ranch when I need authentic Japanese ingredients in a pinch, otherwise I frequent Hmart for greater variety and more competitive prices."

a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. i love this place so much. its has tables for eating and a mini grocery store inside it that sells asian products that you can't find in evanston. the food is so good and the service is great.

I had no idea how good this little gem is until we ordered from them during the pandemic. They have the freshest and most delightful assortment of sushi and other kitchen staples salmon, tofu, sauces, mochi balls, candy, ice cream the list goes on! You can dine in or outside and it is so quick and easy. Don’t pass this place by, and you’ll soon find yourself becoming a regular!
